Les articles vont d’évaluations retraçant les principales phases de cette évolution et de l’expansion de l’Eglise entre le 10e et le 16e siècle, à des études spécifiques sur l’organisation paroissiale et le rôle des ordres monastiques - surtout les Mendiants, dont l’importance, selon le professeur Kloczowski, a été beaucoup trop sousestimée.
