Download or read book Principes fondamentaux du génie des procédés et de la technologie chimique (2e éd.) written by FAUDUET Henri and published by Lavoisier. This book was released on 2012-09-11 with total page 802 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle.

To compliment these new essays, the collection features significant scholarship and commentary on The Comedy of Errors that is published in obscure and difficulty accessible journals, newspapers, and other sources. This collection brings together these essays for the first time.

Book Synopsis Non-Waste Technology and Production by : Sam Stuart
Download or read book Non-Waste Technology and Production written by Sam Stuart and published by Elsevier. This book was released on 2013-10-22 with total page 712 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Non-Waste Technology and Production covers the proceedings of an international seminar organized by the Senior Advisers to ECE Governments on Environmental Problems on the Principles and Creation of Non-Waste Technology and Production, held in Paris on November 29 – December 4, 1976. The book focuses on the dynamics, applications, processes, and methodologies involved in non-waste technology, including recycling and measures adopted by countries on non-waste development. The selection first offers information on the concepts and principles of non-waste technology, as well as the social aspects of the problems of non-waste technology; and systems analysis as a basis for the creation of non-waste technology. The text also provides an introduction to recycling in CTS as a means of reducing waste and methods of processing waste into secondary material resources. The book then takes a look at concepts and principles of non-waste technology and the adoption of eco-activity as an approach to non-waste technology. The text surveys the application of non-waste development in different countries, such as Austria, Belgium, Federal Republic of Germany, Poland, the United States, Yugoslavia, and Sweden. The manuscript also underscores the applications of non-waste technology in the industrial settings and the methods of conserving raw material and energy and protecting the environment in chemical and electro-chemical plating plants. The book is a vital reference for readers and environmentalists interested in non-waste technology.

Book Synopsis The European Environmental Conscience in EU Politics by : Thomas Hoerber
Download or read book The European Environmental Conscience in EU Politics written by Thomas Hoerber and published by Routledge. This book was released on 2021-12-06 with total page 191 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Based on empirical studies of European energy and environmental policies, this book suggests that, in combination, these two policy fields form a consensus in the EU which might also become the basis for a new European ideology, namely European ‘sustainabilism’. It asks why an environmental conscience has grown since the late 1960s in the industrialised world and shows that whilst there is undeniable environmental degradation during this time, and that a European environmental conscience has mainly developed through successive steps of European integration in energy policy. In this connection between energy and the environmental we find one driver for European integration and indeed European identity. If sustainabilism should become a European ideology, it will substantially influence the way future Europeans will live. This book will be of key interest to scholars and students of European Studies, International Relations, Political Science, History, Economics, Sustainability Studies, Environmental and Energy Policies in Europe.
Download or read book Waste Management written by J. Woolfe and published by Springer Science & Business Media. This book was released on 2013-11-09 with total page 278 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: The EEC's heavy dependence on imported raw materials, combined with insufficient priority given to recuperative technologies, provided twin incentives to convene the European Conference on Waste Management. The conference was also held in answer to a call for a serious interna tional forum to enable high calibre spokesmen to express their views on a diversity of vital interests. The ambitious objective was that such a melting pot would smooth the road to cohesive policies and purposeful action, especially in the field of waste recycling. Among the speakers there were several specialists ready to outline the state of the art of a variety of technical subjects. This range included aspects of packaging, hazardous waste, the utilisation of waste in agri culture, energy from waste, and waste paper. ~aper was to play a particularly serious role, because pulp and paper is the largest external commodity need by the EEC countries after oil. Speakers were to be drawn from all parts of the EEC, in the expectation that country-to-country comparisons would stimulate progress in specific areas. This hope was frequently realised. Well represented was the Environment and Consumer Protection Department of the Commission itself. It is this department that has been quietly setting the beginnings of a coherent policy for waste management for throughout the 250 million population Community for the past seven years.
