L'homme, qui peut dire de lui-même : " Je suis comme Horus qui va parcourant des millions d'années ", passait alternativement par les deux aspects de la vie : celui de la mort (apparente) qui était une préparation, et celui de la manifestation, ou vie incarnée ; chacun de ces deux stades étant la conséquence du précédent, selon les décrets de Maat, la Vérité-Justice. L'homme était l'artisan de son propre destin, se forgeant lui-même un sort heureux ou malheureux selon qu'il avait obéi aux impératifs de sa conscience ou suivi ses mauvais penchants. Il était " l'enfant qui marche au long de la route d'hier ", la " route d'hier " déterminant ses pas d'aujourd'hui. Ces notions, familières à l'Egyptien de l'Antiquité, d'éternité de la vie, de réincarnation et peut-être surtout la conviction que l'existence humaine est régie par une Loi divine de Justice et de Rétribution rendant chaque individu responsable de lui-même, ENEL pensait que l'humanité aurait grand besoin de les retrouver aujourd'hui. Elle échapperait peut-être ainsi aux terrifiantes catastrophes qui la menacent, et d'abord au sentiment d'absurdité qui accable les enfants du XXe siècle matérialiste.
