Il testo vuole portare un contributo esplicativo a tutte le figure professionali (ma anche al lettore interessato) che intendono approfondire cosa sia una relazione di maltrattamento psicologico (spesso confusa con una semplice relazione conflittuale), quali siano le dinamiche comunicative e psicologiche (legate alla manipolazione, alla suggestione ed al plagio) che possono concorrere a "incastrare" la vittima in una relazione maltrattante, quali tipologie di uomini sono pi� predisposti a sviluppare maltrattamento. Per riuscire a intervenire prima che venga messa in atto la violenza fisica, prima che si consumi una tragedia, un femminicidio, è necessario cogliere quei segnali talvolta più sottili ‒ le offese, i ricatti psicologici, il silenzio o l’indifferenza ‒ che sono all’ordine del giorno in una relazione conflittuale permanente tra uomo e donna. L’attività encomiabile svolta dai numerosi centri antiviolenza presenti in Italia, che andrebbero sostenuti con maggiore impegno sociale e politico, è una risposta seria da parte di professionisti in grado di riconoscere tramite i racconti della parte femminile ciò che sta realmente accadendo in una sfera più intima, quella decisiva per le sorti dell’identità e della salute psico-fisica della donna. Andrea Testa è nato a Bra nel 1988. Dopo essersi iscritto alla Facoltà di Ingegneria biomedica al Politecnico di Torino, a circa 25 anni ha capito che la sua vera vocazione professionale era legata alla psicologia e alle relazioni umane. Così ha deciso, dopo aver acquisito la laurea triennale in Ingegneria, di ricominciare da capo e di iscriversi all’Università di Torino per iniziare il corso di Educazione Professionale. La sua prima occupazione in questo campo è stata in una comunità alloggio di Rivoli per persone disabili nel 2017. Contemporaneamente ha svolto un tirocinio in un centro diurno per pazienti psichiatrici di Collegno e successivamente ha completato la formazione universitaria al SerD di via Spalato a Torino. Si è poi laureato a novembre 2018. In quest’ultimo periodo ha lavorato nel settore della psichiatria a Pinerolo (gruppo appartamento) e in quello dei minori (comunità terapeutica) a Racconigi.
