Book Synopsis La personnalisation des apprentissages by : Sylvain Connac
Download or read book La personnalisation des apprentissages written by Sylvain Connac and published by ESF Sciences Humaines. This book was released on 2023-05-03T00:00:00+02:00 with total page 433 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Philippe Meirieu

Book Synopsis Personalization and Collaboration in Adaptive E-Learning by : Tadlaoui, Mouenis Anouar
Download or read book Personalization and Collaboration in Adaptive E-Learning written by Tadlaoui, Mouenis Anouar and published by IGI Global. This book was released on 2019-12-13 with total page 348 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: As part of e-learning, adaptive systems are more specialized and focus on the adaptation of learning content and presentation of this content. An adaptive system focuses on how knowledge is learned and pays attention to the activities, cognitive structures, and context of the learning material. The adaptive term refers to the automatic adaptation of the system to the learner. The needs of the learner are borne by the system itself. The learner did not ask to change the parameters of the system to his own needs; it is rather the needs of the learner that will be supposed by the system. The system adapts according to this necessity. Personalization and Collaboration in Adaptive E-Learning is an essential reference book that aims to describe the specific steps in designing a scenario for a collaborative learning activity in the particular context of personalization in adaptive systems and the key decisions that need to be made by the teacher-learner. By applying theoretical and practical aspects of personalization in adaptive systems and applications within education, this collection features coverage on a broad range of topics that include adaptive teaching, personalized learning, and instructional design. This book is ideally designed for instructional designers, curriculum developers, educational software developers, IT specialists, educational administrators, professionals, professors, researchers, and students seeking current research on comparative studies and the pedagogical issues of personalized and collaborative learning.

Book Synopsis Education for Responsibility by : Hélène Hagège
Download or read book Education for Responsibility written by Hélène Hagège and published by John Wiley & Sons. This book was released on 2019-07-09 with total page 297 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Changing your mind to change the world is the general principle proposed to educate for responsibility. Using an interdisciplinary scientific approach, this book dissects the functioning of the ego, that is to say the belief in a self, an illusion that causes disharmony. After an original modeling of the notion of responsibility, the author deduces that it is incumbent on all of us to become aware of the relationship between our own minds and the world. Thus, gaining consistency and awareness, everyone would have the potential to free themselves from the illusion of the ego and contribute to a more harmonious world. This book therefore proposes psychospiritual skills, favored in particular by different forms of reflexivity and by meditation (and mindfulness), which can serve as a basis for a curriculum to educate for responsibility. This academic connection between meditation and ethics is a major innovative contribution.
Book Synopsis Literature, Language and Computing by : Polina Eismont

The book comprises the papers allocated into 2 sections discussing the study of corpora in language, translation, and literary studies and the use of computing in language teaching and translation and in emotional text processing. A unique feature of the presented collection is that the papers, compiled in one volume, allow readers to get an understanding of a wide range of research conducted in Saint Petersburg State University and other Russian leading scientific institutions. Both the classical tradition of Saint Petersburg philology and the results obtained with the help of new computer technologies as a sample of the symbiosis of technologies and traditions, which bring research to a qualitatively new level, arouse interest.

Book Synopsis Learner Support in Online Learning Environments by : Chrysta Pelissier
Download or read book Learner Support in Online Learning Environments written by Chrysta Pelissier and published by John Wiley & Sons. This book was released on 2019-04-26 with total page 155 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: We are at a crucial time for the production and dissemination of knowledge – one in which the scientific community is questioning the nature of the digital humanities. Within this context, Learner Support in Online Learning Environments proposes, by taking into consideration the notion of assistance in a learning context, an original method of positioning digital resources for teachers, students and researchers in the humanities and social sciences. Questioning existing theoretical frameworks and prototypes, learner support in digital environments is presented as both a process and a result integrating a variety of resources. Some of these resources already exist, some may be adapted from existing objects and still others have yet to be imagined. The end goal is to facilitate both independent and group-based learning activities.
Book Synopsis Modeling of Next Generation Digital Learning Environments by : Marc Trestini
Download or read book Modeling of Next Generation Digital Learning Environments written by Marc Trestini and published by John Wiley & Sons. This book was released on 2018-12-18 with total page 314 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: The emergence of social networks, OpenCourseWare, Massive Open Online Courses, informal remote learning and connectivist approaches to learning has made the analysis and evaluation of Digital Learning Environments more complex. Modeling these complex systems makes it possible to transcribe the phenomena observed and facilitates the study of these processes with the aid of specific tools. Once this essential step is taken, it then becomes possible to develop plausible scenarios from the observation of emerging phenomena and dominant trends. This book highlights the contribution of complex systems theory in the study of next generation Digital Learning Environments. It describes a realistic approach and proposes a range of effective management tools to achieve it.
