L'adolescence est une période déterminante pour la structuration de la personnalité et de son rapport aux autres. Lors de cette période décisive, la pragmatique et les habiletés sociales sont essentielles. Or chez les adolescents dysphasiques, ces compétences sont souvent fragiles. Les travailler en groupe nous semblait une médiation bénéfique et intéressante pour ces jeunes, plus écologique et proche de leur réalité sociale que la prise en charge duelle classique. Nous avons alors choisi d'observer et de quantifier l'évolution de la pragmatique et des habiletés sociales chez des adolescents qui travaillent ces compétences en groupe à six mois d'intervalle et de comparer cette évolution à celles d'adolescents dysphasiques qui ne participent à aucun groupe. Ainsi, nous avons pu voir l'impact de ces groupes de travail auprès de ces jeunes. Malgré les biais que nous avons pu rencontrer lors de notre étude, nous pouvons en déduire que le groupe est une modalité efficace et pertinente pour travailler la compétence pragmatique et les habiletés sociales.
