Therefore, in order to acquire a deeper understanding of the ideas of one of the greatest thinkers of the 20th century, it is essential to examine Jung's preliminary works as well. As a result, it is the aim of this book to provide its reader with an understanding of the contents of Jung's initial fantasies and dreams and illustrate how these impacted Jung's most important ideas. Interestingly, however, the contents of the Black Books and the Red Book (Published in 2009), and the way in which these books have been written is, at the least, untypical.
