Justificaremos así la enseñanza de la utilización de este implemento en la Educación Secundaria Obligatoria, y su relación con los objetivos y contenidos de la Educación Física en esta etapa, así como su relación con las funciones del movimiento. Acompañaremos los contenidos con una propuesta teórico-práctica inicial para tratar la Educación Vial, y continuaremos por mostrarles un listado de ejercicios en progresión para desarrollar diferentes habilidades sobre la bicicleta clasificados en: Ejercicios de Desplazamientos, Ejercicios de Frenada, Ejercicios de Equilibrio, Actividades de Reparación Básicas, Actividades en la Naturaleza, y Juegos. Finalmente haremos un repaso por los principales deportes que hacen uso de este implemento (ciclismo, ciclo-cross, mountain-bike, trial, freestyle...) y daremos a conocer sus modalidades y reglas principales. Esperamos que sea para usted un material útil en el terreno educativo en el que lo vaya a utilizar, ya sea escolar o extraescolar.
