Christ Church, Bethel, - George B. Chase, Joel B. Putnam. Trinity Church, Fairfield. - Horatio Wakeman. St. James' Church, Hydeville. - Franklin W. Whitlock. Christ Church, Guilford. - Isaac Brown. Calvary Church, Jericho. - Rufus Brown. St. Paul's Church, Royalton. - William Skinner. St. John's Church, Poultney. - Aaron Lewis. Trinity Church, Rutland. - William T. Nichols. Union Church, St. Albans. - Bildad Paul, Geo. F. Houghton. St. Paul's Church, Windsor. - Edward Brown. St. James' Church, Woodstock. - A. Steams. A quorum of the Clergy and Laity being present, the Convention was duly organized. On motion, Resolved, That Clergymen of the Protestant Episcopal Church, not canonically entitled to seat.s in, this Convention, all candidates for Holy Orders, the Treasurer of this Convention, the Treasurer of the Board of Land Agents, and such members of the Standing Committee as may be present, be, and hereby are, invited to seats in this Convention. Whereupon, The Rev. Fletcher J. Hawley, of the Diocese of New York, and Rector of St. John's Church, Santa Cruz, West Indies; the Rev. Oliver Hopson, of the Diocese of New York; the Rev. William S. Southgate, Rector of St. Michael's Church, Brattleboro'; and the Rev. William C. Hopkins, of Burlington, not canonically entitled to seats in Convention, and Messrs Albert D. Spalter, J. Isham Bliss and Charles S. Hale, candidates for Holy Orders in the Diocese of Vermont, appeared, in Convention and took seats under the above resolution.
