Jim taught history in middle school in Saranac Lake for thirty-six years and was an ordained Deacon for the Diocese of Ogdensburg for thirty-one years. He has presented days of reflection in numerous parishes over those years and it is through his devotion to God and his love of history that he wrote this book.
