Book excerpt: This book is about the author's experience with the High Level MSM Protocol as it was given to him by a horse farmer in 1998 together with the Undenatured Whey Protein Isolate Protocol and the Low Carb diet. With these three anti-aging protocols, he has add discussions on many less well known supplements such as moringa leaf powder and general discussions on minerals, water, foods, vitamins, and better known supplements. Since starting this book, he has been contacted by people all over the world about miraculous healings that he never expected such as cancer reversals and an email from his now friend Mona who reported a healing from a rare autoimmune disease... people who were given up on by mainstream doctors as hopeless in addition to the expected joint and arthritis cures. His own venture into HL MSM was spurred by his having major arthritis, circulatory, and joint problems which this protocol cured entirely,

Book excerpt: To begin: The information reported herein was virtually unknown with the first edition of the book over ten years ago. However, much of it today, piecemeal, is all over the web. Still, nowhere does it come with the depth reported herein. The science herein is reader based and that of personal experiences over the past years. The earlier editions of It's the Liver Stupid, have been well received around the world, but this 4th edition carries a new level MSM/ DMSO information that is simply not available elsewhere, With this update, you are told not only that it works (from reports), but now the basis. The Author receives emails from readers daily who have cured themselves, not only of the joint and arthritis problems that the 1st edition set out to teach, but now we have reports of cures that no one expected, from the big three: cancer, type II diabetes, heart disease, but also a slew of conditions that the Author did not even know existed ten years ago. Once you understand the underlying reason, that is, the supercharging of the mitochondria and the profound effects on the basic methylation cycles, you can see why this is the most powerful health measure that you can take to extend your life and upgrade your level of health. Interestingly, the healing effects can be much faster than we ever considered before also. Before, I was talking months and reports are that they can occur in days and weeks. With this update, the emphasis is even more on the self-healing and the spiritual effects on wellness. While this is not the final update, obviously, and, likely, this will always be an ongoing pursuit, it is a leap forward with lots of editing and new information added,

Book excerpt: This is the 5th edition of this book that was started online in the days of dial-up in Yahoo Groups Coconut Oil. The current input / comprehensive part of the book is about 160 pages long and ends with that many page of discussions . The current input with references is up to date as of 11/29/17. Every update is virtually a new book, as this antiaging and healing technology is growing quickly. The newest part includes the incredible plant information shown on the back cover, but there is plenty more. There is a lack of dialog between the mainstream and alternative health factions and the point of this book is to bring out the best of both that can be used by those interested.

But, due to many factors like processed food, drugs, alcohol etc, you lose the beneficial microbes responsible for supplying nutrients for regeneration of liver cells. In liver cirrhosis pathology, the activation of hepatic stellate cells is a pivotal event in fibrosis. This is a well-known fact and many recent research works establish some potent herb's abilities to attenuate the hepatic stellate cell activation. This book offers you a step by step ancient procedure to cure fatty liver and advanced liver diseases with its importance in rejuvenating a healthy gut flora presented on a purely scientific background.

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: One of the New York Times 10 Best Books of 2009-- now adapted into the feature film Certain Women, starring Kristen Stewart-- award-winning writer Maile Meloy's short stories explore complex lives in an austere landscape with the clear-sightedness that first endeared her to readers. Don't miss her new novel, Do Not Become Alarmed. Meloy's first return to short stories since her critically acclaimed debut, Both Ways Is the Only Way I Want It is an extraordinary new work from one of the most promising writers of the last decade. Eleven unforgettable new stories demonstrate the emotional power and the clean, assured style that have earned Meloy praise from critics and devotion from readers. Propelled by a terrific instinct for storytelling, and concerned with the convolutions of modern love and the importance of place, this collection is about the battlefields-and fields of victory-that exist in seemingly harmless spaces, in kitchens and living rooms and cars. Set mostly in the American West, the stories feature small-town lawyers, ranchers, doctors, parents, and children, and explore the moral quandaries of love, family, and friendship. A ranch hand falls for a recent law school graduate who appears unexpectedly- and reluctantly-in his remote Montana town. A young father opens his door to find his dead grandmother standing on the front step. Two women weigh love and betrayal during an early snow. Throughout the book, Meloy examines the tensions between having and wanting, as her characters try to keep hold of opposing forces in their lives: innocence and experience, risk and stability, fidelity and desire. Knowing, sly, and bittersweet, Both Ways Is the Only Way I Want It confirms Maile Meloy's singular literary talent. Her lean, controlled prose, full of insight and unexpected poignancy, is the perfect complement to her powerfully moving storytelling.

Book excerpt: A gripping novel about a woman who sets out to find the father who left her years ago, and ends up discovering herself. When Eden was ten years old she found her father, David, bleeding on the bathroom floor. The suicide attempt led to her parents’ divorce, and David all but vanished from Eden’s life. Twenty years later, Eden runs a successful catering company and dreams of opening a restaurant. Since childhood, she has heard from her father only rarely, just enough to know that he’s been living on the streets and struggling with mental illness. But lately there has been no word at all. After a series of failed romantic relationships and a health scare from her mother, Eden decides it’s time to find her father, to forgive him at last, and move forward with her own life. Her search takes her to a downtown Seattle homeless shelter, and to Jack Baker, its handsome and charming director. Jack convinces Eden to volunteer her skills as a professional chef with the shelter. In return, he helps her in her quest. As the connection between Eden and Jack grows stronger, and their investigation brings them closer to David, Eden must come to terms with her true emotions, the secrets her mother has kept from her, and the painful question of whether her father, after all these years, even wants to be found. The result is an emotionally rich and honest novel about making peace with the past—and embracing the future.

Meanwhile, a group of cynics who are fed up with how futile the world has become decide to payback society in a series of the most bizarre and pointless terrorist attacks ever. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: De Motu animalium is sometimes referred to in the medical literature. But who has read it? The book, originally published in Latin, seemingly constitutes the very first treatise on biomechanics. The author, Giovanni Alfonso Borelli (1608 - 1679), was professor of mathematics and physics in Pisa where he worked with Malpighi, who was professor of theoretical medicine and focused Borelli's interest on the movements of living creatures. This was the time of Galileo, Descartes, Newton and many others, when sciences exploded, sometimes leading to conflicts with religious authorities. De Motu animalium, Borelli's life work, has two parts. In the first part, he analyses the action of the muscles, the movements of the limbs and motions of man and animals, including skating, running, jumping, swimming and flying. The second part deals with what is now called physiology, considered from the point of view of a mechanist: heart beat, blood circulation, breathing, separation of urine from the blood in the kidneys, liver function, reproduction, fatigue, thirst, hunger, fever, and so on. This work shows Borelli to be a genial precursor. He expresses his opinion as a mathematician on problems which afterwards further stimulated the curiosity and endeavours of many generations of researchers. This book will be welcomed by anybody who is interested in the working of living bodies and in the history of human knowledge.
