Book Synopsis Finance and Psychology – A never-ending love story?! Behavioural Finance and its impact on the credit crunch in 2009 by : Patrick Kemtzian
Download or read book Finance and Psychology – A never-ending love story?! Behavioural Finance and its impact on the credit crunch in 2009 written by Patrick Kemtzian and published by diplom.de. This book was released on 2015-02-01 with total page 56 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: In the last decades many financial crises have emerged, like the stock crash of 1987, the Asian crisis in 1997 and the global financial crisis that started in 2008. Although those crises occurred for different reasons, they all proved financial markets to be inefficient. Not all traders think rationally. Behavioural patterns cause irrationality amongst traders. Even after decades of research in this field, financial crises like the latest one in 2008 still develop out of a combination of different behavioural patterns like herding. As a consequence those patterns deserve an in-depth analysis that is conducted by the author in this work. In order to find out to what extent behavioural finance influences the decision –making process of traders and investors the seven most relevant behavioural patterns have been identified and analysed through qualitative research in form of primary research. The informal interview with the sophisticated trader Thomas Vittner serves as empirical evidence for the significance of the determined behavioural patterns. To find out, whether public investors and traders showed a herding behaviour towards analysts’ stock recommendations in the financial crisis and its recovery, quantitative research has been made by conducting an experiment. Stocks performances in relation to analysts’ recommendations were analysed and evaluated. The author’s selected behavioural patterns are influencing traders’ and investors’ decision-making processes to a large extent as their majority trades irrationally. The herding behaviour to follow analysts’ stock recommendations only holds partially in the crisis and in the recovery phase. The results show that whereas the majority of analysts’ recommendations matched with market trends before the crisis, only about half matched during the crisis and its recovery. People tended to follow the general signals of the market, rather than to recommendations given by analysts.

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Have you ever made a regrettable choice in life? Do those past unforgivable or unconceivable mistakes consume you and wish you could turn back time? Indeed, we have all made bad choices, poor decisions and mistakes. However, it’s possible to let go, forgive and move forward. Wayne Mouland’s book “Wayne’s Echo It’s Never Too Late, From Street Gangster to Meditation Mentor” helps us navigate through the feelings of shame, judgement, unforgiveness, past hurts, and regret and carries us to a place of hope, light and love. In this compelling story of his life journey from Nova Scotia to Toronto, he shares his life of drug addiction, street violence and illegal criminal activity that nearly cost him everything. His journey is an unforgettable captivating story that demonstrates it is in fact possible to turn one’s life around to transform into a place of peace, divine intentions, and harmony. Wayne Mouland brilliantly illustrates that once we express unconditional love for one another and we are committed to living a life of prosperity infused with the application of daily meditation; our mindset and spirit lifts to a space of positivity, and a powerful shift occurs. This book is a profound reminder that each and every one of us possesses the power within ourselves to manifest a life we truly desire; that it’s never too late for that second chance, for a new beginning anything and everything is possible. As you read, the consciousness beautifully awakens and the awareness is undeniably clear that what we put out into the Universe forever echoes back. ~ Karen Carrington, Author & Talk Show Host
Download or read book It's Never The End written by Alex Raco and published by . This book was released on 2016-05-07 with total page 222 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: London - late 1880s. Alex - successful MBA, skeptical and materialistic executive, sees himself as a woman in a previous life. And, she's about to have a miscarriage. This out-of-body experience, or regression, totally changes Alex's present life.He recovers from a serious auto immune condition and forsakes the rat race of the business world to bring relief to others. And, through his treatment of clients he has reawakened and guided hundreds of people through regressions to their previous lives. This book recounts, with incredible detail, the adventures of his clients' previous lives.Readers learn about hypnosis techniques and other phenomena like déjà vu. Fear not, the book is not overly technical. The author debunks myths about hypnosis, explaining why his controlled techniques produce empirical results, notwithstanding the lack of acceptance by traditional medicine.Have you ever met someone or entered a place for the first time, but, feel like you once knew them or where there before? Mr. Raco's clients expose how childhood memories and previous lives contribute to our present consciousness - our very souls. It goes beyond our brains, before our present beings, and after our deaths. The book describes Mr. Raco's initial heavy skepticism of regression therapy. But it describes the real experiences of many clients. Their regression experiences demonstrate how present problems can be solved or reduced by reworking traumatic memories - in this and in previous lifetimes.A book in which topics such as parenting, soulmates, emotional dependency and the love for animals become alive through the lives of soldiers, monks, thieves, singers, slaves, dwarfs, ancient Romans, medieval peasants and warriors. It is a statistical and empirical investigation from a professional who is able to maintain, in spite of everything, a detached and neutral perspective. A great instrument for the psychological well-being and personal growth of all of us. A book that will change your life.
