Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: It is amazing what can be done when you put your trust in the Lord. Who would have thought that this book of poetry would finally be written for everyone to enjoy. Not in my wildest dream had I ever thought I would be writing poetry much less putting it out there for all who have a poetry muse to enjoy. Many poets in the “World of Poets” say that poetry is the DNA of the soul and maybe it is. The Psalms surely give our souls much food for thought, to ponder and to praise God. Perhaps some of these poems will lift someone’s heart to the Father, Son and Holy Spirit. If only one person finds some peace, solace or laughter from these poems then all the hard work will have fulfilled its mission. Most of this poetry is a prayer, some of it is from the very depth of my being and I often wondered if I want the world to see the real me. Being a private individual, it is very humbling to have others read my soul. Be that as it may, here it is for all to see, the naked truth and nothing but the truth.

Falling, fracturing her hip, and then having surgery were experiences that forced Barbara Sinor to travel an unknown path. These experiences took her beyond her normal life to exploring emotions and thoughts in foreign regions. While Barbara was confined to a rehabilitation facility to recover, her inner journey took her through territories of fear, doubt, pain, guilt, and down other emotional paths. Regardless of your personal struggle, the lessons in Inspirational Musings offer courage and insights to awaken and transform. "Drawing on words from many teachers and adding her own honest stories and reflection during a time of convalescence, Barbara offers us a small book to dip into when we want to go deeper, when we need to find healing for this moment. Inspirational Musings is a book to slip into your pocket or bag as you travel the journey that is taken by human beings." --Oriah “Mountain Dreamer” House, author, The Invitation "Sinor's poetic musings around topics such as Compassion, Suffering, Beauty, Joy, Awakening, and Faith not only inspire us, but awaken our souls to discover meaning and purpose both during and after our pain." --Holli Kenley, M.A., MFT, author, Daughters Betrayed By Their Mothers "Reading this booklet of insights reached up and grabbed me within the first few pages. Book excerpt: There are always those of us who feel compelled or drawn to reach out beyond the confines of what we can see, feel, hear, taste or smell into the area of the unknown and unprovable which has been-in the past-the rather exclusive domain of religion and Spirituality. I was myself compelled beyond my capacity to resist to reach not only out into the unknown, but to climb whatever ladder needed to be climbed to rise up out of each box I found myself contained within (and limited by) as some sort of doctrine, philosophy, belief system, scripture, or group thought. I ended up on a very long and sometimes lonely journey which took me to a place of comfort where I felt I at least knew something- that something being a lot more than I knew before beginning the journey. Since that journey to understanding turned out to be the primary thrust and focus of attention of my whole life, I kept track of my thoughts and experiences and wrote them down- sometimes as poetry, sometimes as song, sometimes as narrative. This book highlights the narrative portion of that journey and it describes in a mystical sort of way what I found to be of practical (and impractical) value. For most of us, the journey through life is a journey from "nothing" to "something". I finished that journey about age 35 and then started on the journey from something to nothing. As you will see if you read further inside, nothing merely means "no-thing". The understanding of the word and concept is, however, tantamount to understanding "every-thing".

This book was released on 2020-05-27 with total page 360 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: I had always believed in the healing power of our Lord, and viewed my life as one of service to Him via the practice of medicine. But, in retrospect, I had a deeper trust in the power of modern medicine and science than I did in Jesus Christ and His fully accomplished work on the Cross. My thinking was flawed, but, as I grew in my walk with the Lord and meditated on Scripture more fully, I began to see the superiority of faith over the limited interventions modern medical science had to offer, and that this interplay between faith and science was not mutually exclusive, but complimentary, for the spiritual aspects of our lives illuminate and empower the carnal aspects of intellect and physical senses. I began jotting notes to myself related to this interplay of faith and healing and science, and just filed them away...for years. IThen, in December of 2017, a baby was born to a first time mother of mine, his little body riddled with the most fulminant form of acute lymphoblasic leukemia, almost always fatal. His absolutely miraculous healing was the impetus to start putting these thoughts into writing, in the form of weekday morning emails entitled “A Christian Doctor’s View of Healing, Faiith, and Science”. It was soon made clear to me that these writings were to take the form of a year long devotional book, comprised of short weekday messages that are intimately linked, such that they can be read through as a book. And that book was to paint a picture, and that picture was to be of a face, and the face was to be that of Jesus, for He is the source of all healing
