El objetivo principal es ampliar el número de salidas profesionales para los Trabajadores Sociales; este objetivo se ha concretado en dos puntos: a) conocer el mercado laboral potencial en el que se pueda integrar un Diplomado en Trabajo Social; b) descubrir los problemas que se le plantean al incorporarse al mundo del trabajo. En el desarrollo de esta investigación se han cubierto las siguientes fases: 1o) análisis teórico del mercado de trabajo buscando la ubicación del colectivo objeto de estudio; 2o) en segundo lugar, constatar la información obtenida a través del trabajo de campo y detectar el grado de inserción laboral que cabe esperar en un futuro inmediato para estos diplomados.
