Book excerpt: The emphasis has been on who or what is Indigo rather than on why Indigo. Per Abraham, Indigo refers to the vibration of and around a soul. The human body, which encompasses the Indigo Soul, in essence, radiates energy at a higher level than that of their counterparts. Many writings have described the characteristics (or behaviors) of Indigo and suggest ideas of how we can support them in school and at home. All valid! Most Indigo have difficulty conforming to society standards, when it was the non-Indigo population who made the rules in the first place. In the mind of the Indigo, the rules, technically, do not apply to them. Indigo think, "Why bother with the restrictions or expectations attempted to be placed on me when the end result is not my normal but yours?" We will not find many materialistic, over-achieving, and corporate climbing Indigo in our midst. The Indigo is not motivated by the same wants and desires. God sent them to Earth for a reason. Allow them to step into purpose and bring balance to where we all live. Help make way for the Indigo Soul.

Book excerpt: When I started my professional career I was told I was tenacious. I had to look up the definition. Determined or stubborn: tending to stick firmly to any decision, plan or opinion without changing or doubting it. The last few years I have been anything but tenacious. I tried one thing, if it didn’t work, I immediately changed course and looked for another viable option. My heart goes out to parents who may find themselves in a similar situation. I had the background. I had resources. More than that, I had an undeniable fear. Fear that my kids would be lost in a world that didn’t understand, nor WANTED to understand. Not everyone can function in our educational infrastructure and how dare anyone pass judgment and say they are inferior in any way. My lesson: to not be afraid of the mandates of this society. This is the true story of a mom, protecting her children, and learning that their true purpose is to not only protect me, but everything else as well. I am again tenacious; for all that is Indigo.

Book excerpt: Prakash Kumar documents the history of agricultural indigo, exploring the effects of nineteenth-century globalisation on this colonial industry. Charting the indigo culture from the early modern period to the twentieth century, Kumar discusses how knowledge of indigo culture thrived among peasant traditions on the Indian subcontinent in the early modern period and was then developed by Caribbean planters and French naturalists who codified this knowledge into widely disseminated texts. European planters who settled in Bengal with the establishment of British rule in the late eighteenth century drew on this information. From the nineteenth century, indigo culture became more modern, science-based and expert driven, and with the advent of a cheaper, purer synthetic indigo in 1897, indigo science crossed paths with the colonial state's effort to develop a science for agricultural development. Only at the end of the First World War, when the industrial use of synthetic indigo for textile dyeing and printing became almost universal, did the indigo industry's optimism fade away.

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: "The Indigo Children? Oh yeah . . . I know about them! Wasn’t there a movie about that? They’re those special kids who do psychic things and who have dark blue auras, right?" If that’s your take on the Indigos, then you really need to read this book. The Indigo Children are not super-psychic kids with dark blue auras. In fact, the Indigo moniker has nothing to do with auras or being psychic. Some of these teenagers are actually the ones who are strapping on bombs and bringing guns to school, so you can see that the subject here is far more profound than the sensational hype that often accompanies it. This book is all about the children of our planet, what really might be happening with them, why they do what they do, and what we can do to help them and our educators survive all this. In addition, the Indigos are slowly beginning to join the work force (gasp)! Join Lee Carroll and Jan Tober, the original authors of The Indigo Children, for a profound and frank discussion of this topic, ten years later. After all this time, what do some in higher education say about these kids? What do industry leaders say? Humanity is evolving, so you should definitely be aware of what these individuals are saying. It’s time to stop the circus that has been created around this subject and get down to finding out how to help these children survive an earth they don’t understand . . . or perhaps it’s just you they don’t understand. . . . Join the leaders of education and industry who speak out in this book for a peek into the real issues surrounding the Indigos, and perhaps the future of humanity!

Book excerpt: Growing up in suburban Detroit, David Hahn was fascinated by science. While he was working on his Atomic Energy badge for the Boy Scouts, David’s obsessive attention turned to nuclear energy. Throwing caution to the wind, he plunged into a new project: building a model nuclear reactor in his backyard garden shed. Posing as a physics professor, David solicited information on reactor design from the U.S. government and from industry experts. Following blueprints he found in an outdated physics textbook, David cobbled together a crude device that threw off toxic levels of radiation. His wholly unsupervised project finally sparked an environmental emergency that put his town’s forty thousand suburbanites at risk. The EPA ended up burying his lab at a radioactive dumpsite in Utah. This offbeat account of ambition and, ultimately, hubris has the narrative energy of a first-rate thriller.

It contains new information regarding the 5th Dimension and 5th Dimensional consciousness. On New Year's Eve 2011, Nicolya unexpectedly entered into a comatose state for two days during which time a massive "download" of information streamed into her consciousness. This download proved unlike any she had received in the past. Immediately following this, Nicolya fell into a six-week "creative void" during which the direction her Work was taking was lost. Instead, she found herself spinning in an infinite midnight void, whilst at the same time continually being flooded with Light. She emerged from this state as suddenly as she had entered it, with a vast outpouring of information which heralded a crystal clear reorientation for the path her Work was to take, including the content for several books, and the New Human - New Earth: Living in the 5th Dimension workshops and trainings.

Every new trailhead or rerouted path is documented in the descriptions, and 30 all-new trails have been added, bringing the total number of hikes to 206 within Olympic National Park and Olympic National Forest. But Wood’s voice and even his original overview maps have been retained, lending this edition a classic tone while the information is decidedly current.
