Book excerpt: This study aims to investigate the influence of perceived service quality, perceived value, perceived ease of use, and perceived usefulness on customer satisfaction using GPS tracking services in Thailand. The online questionnaires were used from the previous studies that have been valid. A quantitative approach was used to collect the data for statistical analysis, employing stratified random sampling in 413 completed questionnaires for data analysis. The conceptual framework was examined with the multiple regression analysis (MRA). The results reveal that customer satisfaction was highest explained by perceived usefulness, followed by perceived ease of use, perceived service quality, and perceived value, respectively. The contribution could benefit managers and operators as a guideline for effectively developing their strategies to meet consumers' needs through these predictors. It is recommended to improve all factors, especially perceived usefulness because it affects customer satisfaction. Further study to obtain comprehensive coverage results of a qualitative approach is recommended.

Book excerpt: While many marketers acknowledge the importance of using the Internet in their marketing mixes, little research has empirically tested the critical factors that influence an individual's decision when buying products or services online. Based on the gaps found in the literature, this study was designed to investigate factors that encourage and discourage purchase intention on consumers when buying health foods online in Thailand. The study also examined the relative importance of such factors. Thus, the research problem investigated in this thesis is: What are the important factors influencing consumer's online purchase intention of health foods in Thailand? The specific objectives of this research were not only to identify and explore the relative importance of factors, but also to develop a model to investigate the factors influencing purchase intention of consumers when buying health foods online in Thailand.

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: This unique book written by four world leaders in reputation research, presents the latest cutting-edge thinking on organizational improvement. It covers media management, crisis management, the use of logos and other aspects of corporate identity, and argues the case for reputation management as a way of overseeing long-term organizational strategy. It presents a new approach to managing reputation, one that relies on surveying customers and employees on their view of the corporate character and in harmonizing the values of both. This approach has been trialled in a number of organizations and here the authors demonstrate how improving reputation, merely by learning more about what a company is already doing, is worth some five per cent sales growth. The book is a vital, up to date resource for specialists in corporate communication, public relations, marketing, HRM, and business strategy as well as for all senior management. Highly illustrated with over eighty diagrams and tables, it includes up to the minute illustrative case studies and interviews with leading authorities in the field.

Book excerpt: Has the cell phone forever changed the way people communicate? The mobile phone is used for “real time coordination while on the run, adolescents use it to manage their freedom, and teens “text to each other day and night. The mobile phone is more than a simple technical innovation or social fad, more than just an intrusion on polite society. This book, based on world-wide research involving tens of thousands of interviews and contextual observations, looks into the impact of the phone on our daily lives. The mobile phone has fundamentally affected our accessibility, safety and security, coordination of social and business activities, and use of public places. Based on research conducted in dozens of countries, this insightful and entertaining book examines the once unexpected interaction between humans and cell phones, and between humans, period. The compelling discussion and projections about the future of the telephone should give designers everywhere a more informed practice and process, and provide researchers with new ideas to last years. *Rich Ling (an American working in Norway) is a prominent researcher, interviewed in the new technology article in the November 9 issue of the New York Times Magazine. *A particularly "good read", this book will be important to the designers, information designers, social psychologists, and others who will have an impact on the development of the new third generation of mobile telephones. *Carefully and wittily written by a senior research scientist at Telenor, Norway's largest telecommunications company, and developer of the first mobile telephone system that allowed for international roaming.
