Book Synopsis Volume 19, Tome IV: Kierkegaard Bibliography by : Peter Šajda
Download or read book Volume 19, Tome IV: Kierkegaard Bibliography written by Peter Šajda and published by Taylor & Francis. This book was released on 2017-03-16 with total page 226 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: The long tradition of Kierkegaard studies has made it impossible for individual scholars to have a complete overview of the vast field of Kierkegaard research. The large and ever increasing number of publications on Kierkegaard in the languages of the world can be simply bewildering even for experienced scholars. The present work constitutes a systematic bibliography which aims to help students and researchers navigate the seemingly endless mass of publications. The volume is divided into two large sections. Part I, which covers Tomes I-V, is dedicated to individual bibliographies organized according to specific language. This includes extensive bibliographies of works on Kierkegaard in some 41 different languages. Part II, which covers Tomes VI-VII, is dedicated to shorter, individual bibliographies organized according to specific figures who are in some way relevant for Kierkegaard. The goal has been to create the most exhaustive bibliography of Kierkegaard literature possible, and thus the bibliography is not limited to any specific time period but instead spans the entire history of Kierkegaard studies.

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Agricultural biodiversity is a precious legacy which we have a moral duty to pass on intact to future generations. As farming systems modernise, these crucial resources risk being lost, unless effective conservation measures are put in place and sufficient recognition is given to the role of the farmer in food security and agricultural development. This publication contains a number of black and white photographs by Pablo Balbontân Arenas, which give an insight into the life and customs of small farmers who foster, maintain and use genetic diversity in traditional agricultural systems, deploying local techniques and knowledge accumulated over many centuries, focusing on four crops: wheat, rice, maize and potato. The accompanying text is written in English, Spanish and Italian.

Book Synopsis La Tela Strappata by : Alessio Scarlato
Download or read book La Tela Strappata written by Alessio Scarlato and published by Luigi Pellegrini Editore. This book was released on 2016-10-19 with total page 227 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle.
Book Synopsis Freud and Italian Culture by : Pierluigi Barrotta
Download or read book Freud and Italian Culture written by Pierluigi Barrotta and published by Peter Lang. This book was released on 2009 with total page 260 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: This book explores the different ways in which psychoanalysis has been connected to various fields of Italian culture, such as literary criticism, philosophy and art history, as well as discussing scholars who have used psychoanalytical methods in their work. The areas discussed include: the city of Trieste, in chapters devoted to the author Italo Svevo and the artist Arturo Nathan; psychoanalytic interpretations of women terrorists during the anni di piombo; the relationships between the Freudian concept of the subconscious and language in philosophical research in Italy; and a personal reflection by a practising analyst who passes from literary texts to her own clinical experience. The volume closes with a chapter by Giorgio Pressburger, a writer who uses Freud as his Virgil in a narrative of his descent into a modern hell. The volume contains contributions in both English and Italian.
