This book was released on 2014-05-21 with total page 322 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Can We Restore American Standards? The truth is – America has been systematically corrupted by several past Governments; there are Valid DVDS by PBS and other sources that you will find in this book to explain how this came about. But, it goes much earlier than that! It goes back into the 1800s when “Thinking men considered ancient beliefs of the Veda, Buddhism, Jesus Christ: saving our souls, and Darwin’s Evolution, - trying to confront Reality.” Germany: a forerunner in science, had Wilhelm Wundt a psychologist and a leader with a new understanding of the reality of Darwin and evolution declared in a party of interested persons that “Man is only an animal and has no soul that can be demonstrated; the same with God and Religion; both of them are the myths of the old people; man is an evolved chimpanzee and should be treated like an animal with a brain and nervous system, and to be observed for abnormal behavior and treated as such.” Russian observers agreed and together with Germany formed the National Education (NEA) of teachers, and the birth of psychiatry. There is more but it is in my book, and the source is a well-distinguished school teacher: Samuel L.Blumenfeld and author of: N.E.A. Trojan Horse in American Education – The First Full-Length Expose of The National Education Association. © 1949-1984. Since then, American psychiatry has invaded our schools, colleges, universities, State and Federal Governments and you will learn how and what they did to our Country. They have sought to destroy – our education, religion, morals, field of medicine, the laws and our courts...and today we have illiteracy, mental illness, drug addiction, adultery, living together without marriage (responsibility), prostitution, mass shootings of family, teachers and friends, and often themselves. And etc. Again, I repeat: Can We Restore American Standards? If I provide you with all the tools or rsources that wlll help you do the job – would you be willing to become a Problem Solver? A person desiring to be a Problem Solver would be dealing with his/her environment with one or more persons and also promoting the IDEA through his/her Facebook connections – so it could become world-wide...perhaps like telepathy. But, read the two pages of the Contents and see for yourself the huge scope of help you will receive for common problems of illiteracy, what causes disease, how to attain optimum health and happiness. The persons you help, your children, and their future generations will all appreciate your help. So will I.

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: We live in a behavior economy, an environment in which people no longer engage with companies just by purchasing things, but they seek engagement with services that allow them to behave, to leave a mark, and to participate in the community of others. The economic model promoted by the behavior economy is a model where behavior is the only goal of our actions, and where intrinsic motivation is the key to participation, engagement, and the satisfaction of multiple dimensions of value. Value Creation and the Internet of Things describes value delivery and consumption, and the mechanisms by which new value is captured and created, in enterprises dedicated to competing and prospering in this new environment. This book is significant in the context of the Internet of Things becoming mainstream, forcing organizations to re-examine their value creation methodologies in light of new consumer behavior and expectations. The Internet of Things will reframe the existence of the ones enriched by it. It will do so not because it can, but because our motivation will demand it. This is a book about reframing reality for new and incumbent organizations. The reality to reframe is not an imaginary one, but the immediate reality in which one operates: the behavior economy.

Book excerpt: In this simple and accessible but beautifully written book, David Michie opens the door to the core teachings of Tibetan Buddhism, and shows us how he himself first began incorporating Buddhist practices into his daily life. What does it take to be happy? We've all asked ourselves this question at some point, but few of us have found the path to lasting fulfillment. David Michie thought he had achieved his life's goals--the high-level job, the expensive city apartment, the luxury car, the great vacations--but a small voice was telling him he wasn't really happy. A chance remark from a naturopath sent him to his local Buddhist center. There he began the most important journey of his life. In Buddhism for Busy People Michie explains how he came to understand the difference between the temporary pleasures of ordinary life and the profound sense of well-being and heartfelt serenity that comes from connecting with our inner nature.

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: During the twentieth century, men and women across Ireland picked up cameras, photographing days out at the beach, composing views of Ireland's cities and countryside, and recording political events as they witnessed them. Indeed, while foreign photographers often still focused on the image of Ireland as bucolic rural landscape, Irish photographers-snapshotter and professional alike-were creating and curating photographs which revealed more complex and diverse images of Ireland. Snapshot Stories explores these stories. Erika Hanna examines a diverse array of photographic sources, including family photograph albums, studio portraits, the work of photography clubs and community photography initiatives, alongside the output of those who took their cameras into the streets to record violence and poverty. The volume shows how Irish men and women used photography in order to explore their sense of self and society and examines how we can use these images to fill in the details of Ireland's social history. By exploring this rich array of sources, Snapshot Stories asks what it means to see-to look, to gaze, to glance-in modern Ireland, and explores how conflicts regarding vision and visuality have repeatedly been at the centre of Irish life.
