Obtained a resolve from the General Court that he hopes will make up for the loss I have sustained by pledging myself for the clothing & supplies to the late Federal troops- Docket indicates answered the 29th and assured him the note 1045 was not ever received at Nourses office. Declares that the future comfort of his family depends on the certificates, and that he has postponed plans to travel to Boston in order to wait for Jackson's reply.

Declares that the future care and support of his family depends on the certificates, thus they are of the utmost value to him.
