Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: A “comprehensive and fascinating study” of how wind has shaped the world as we know it, affecting all aspects of human and natural life—from geography to political history, plant life to psychology, and biology to philosophy (The Observer) Wind is everywhere and nowhere. Wind is the circulatory system of the earth, and its nervous system, too. Energy and information flow through it. It brings warmth and water, enriches and strips away the soil, aerates the globe. Wind shapes the lives of animals, humans among them. Trade follows the path of the wind, as empire also does. Wind made the difference in wars between the Greeks and Persians, the Mongols and the Japanese. Wind helped to destroy the Spanish Armada. And wind is no less determining of our inner lives: the föhn, mistral, sirocco, Santa Ana, and other “ill winds” of the world are correlated with disease, suicide, and even murder. Heaven’s Breath is an encyclopedic and enchanting book that opens dazzling new perspectives on history, nature, and humanity.
Book Synopsis Heavens and the Heaven by : Uyiogh'Ogie Clement Omoruyi
Download or read book Heavens and the Heaven written by Uyiogh'Ogie Clement Omoruyi and published by AuthorHouse. This book was released on 2020-12-30 with total page 344 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Heavens and the Heaven looks at five levels of heaven. These are Life, Heights, Times, Power and God. As far as the scriptures are concerned, the author could find no other heaven. In other word, we do not and cannot go to heaven when we die. In looking at hell, on the other hand, we also find that this is suffering, pains and aches here on earth. Death and the grave is, therefore, the seal of this hell. Some have asked: “why do we believe in Jesus, then?” The answer is in Paul’s Temple cry in the council of Acts.23:6. “... Men and brethren ... of the hope and resurrection of the dead I am called ...” So, the struggle continue to be choosing between our will or God’s will; our traditions and belief system, or the word of God as contained in the Bible; our sugar laden air pocket ridden leaven bread or God’s choice of healthy unleavened bread. To introduce this book a little bit more, here is an excerpt from the theme of this work: If all living are in heaven, it may be hard for some to accept that those who are alive but ill and suffering are also in heaven. This explains why too many folks refuse, or find it difficult to accept that the life we enjoy now is all the heaven there is. But the harsh reality is, for as long as this present time remains, life is all the heaven there is! Whether we accept or believe it or not, we LIVE out this heaven of life in Time, in Height, in Power (and privileges) and in God. These all, jointly and severally describes the five levels of the heavens there are. But life makes sense of the others and everything else. That life is in God. His Spirit establishes that life in all living. So, when we talk of Life we, inadvertently, talk of the Deity of the universe. The author’s position in these is this. Let this work help us to pause a moment. Then, reexamine the word of God in these views of our heavens also. We may yet find that we have been with the traditions and belief of men long enough. Our individual and joint finds should help ground us more strongly in whatever level in the Faith and understanding of the word of God we are in, currently. In this effort, we should remember that the greatest of these all is to love God above all, and our neighbor as ourselves. Our neighbors are our family members (immediate and extended members), the Jews or Israel (the Elect of God and our Father’s first born). The third are the folks we meet in our daily interactions.

Download or read book Heaven Is a Breath Away written by Valerie Paters and published by Morgan James Publishing. This book was released on 2015-04-07 with total page 224 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: When a massive pileup on an Arizona highway caused Valerie Paters and her Jeep to be entombed beneath a semi truck in a blinding snowstorm, it seemed certain that her life would soon end. Once extracted from the mangled metal, and suffering from massive injuries, Valerie was hospitalized and placed on life support while doctors waited to harvest her organs. But Valerie was more alive than she had ever been. As she stood in the radiant presence of Jesus. He wrapped her into Himself, assuring her of His love and of the promise that heaven is only a breath away. Heaven Is a Breath Away is a thrilling first hand account of the home that awaits Christians when they draw their last breath here on earth. With open arms, Christ welcomes to heaven those who belong to Him. Rarely has this vision been told in such exquisite detail. It will undoubtedly comfort those who have lost loved ones or are near death themselves. Heaven Is a Breath Away gives hope and encourages faith by sharing the heaven Jesus promised-a real place, magnificent in scope and beauty, permeated with iridescence, and alive with divine energy and love.

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Christianity Exposed presents an overall picture of God's work, plan, and the marrow of Christianity, supported by the Bible without religion's interference. Perspectives of disharmony and love may touch a reader's emotions, and they can empathize with story situations, social problems, and world problems. Perceptions about how the world operates are enhanced. This book traces mankind's development and how God uses nature and evil for his purpose. It questions why God allows evil and pain in this world from numerous outlooks, intending to explain away confusing arguments people may hear that could hinder their understanding or belief. It doesn't dwell on the specific problems of the world but explains why they exist, to see why the world is as it is. The author presents biblical observations and new descriptions for understanding Christianity. He discusses the spiritual world. The book describes how religion affects Christians' lives and how they live toward their beliefs. Readers will gain a solid understanding of doctrine and have common questions answered. They will deepen their understanding of how Christianity is a relationship. This is a well-documented, fresh work for Christians that also lets outsiders see what the religion is.
