Die Ursachen der Partnergewalt werden daraufhin herausgearbeitet, wobei der Schwerpunkt auf die Berufssituation, Machtposition und Alkoholsucht gelegt wird. Folgernd darauf werden die Ursachen der Kindesgewalt erwähnt, wo unter anderem die Frage aufkommt, inwiefern sich die Gewalt als Erziehungsmaßnahme äußert. Alle darin gesammelten Ergebnisse werden mit Literatur belegt und teilweise mit Statistiken untermauert. Anschließend werden die gesammelten Ergebnisse gegenübergestellt und verglichen. Am Ende erfolgt eine Zusammenfassung der aufgezählten Aspekte. Die Gewalt an Kindern als Erziehungsmaßnahme wird kritisch beurteilt und Präventionsmaßnahmen hinsichtlich der Partnergewalt aufgezählt.

Hier wurde Literatur von Lamnek, Luedtke, Ottermann und Vogl hinzugezogen. In einem weiterem Punkt werden die Auswirkungen auf die kindliche Entwicklung dargelegt und durch Interviews, die Philomena Strasser für eine Studie an verschiedenen Kindern durchgeführt hat, untermauert. Außerdem werden die Opfer, die aus häuslicher Gewalt hervorgehen und die Täter, die oft selbst darunter zu leiden hatten, näher betrachtet. Des Weiteren werden die Herausforderungen an die Soziale Arbeit genauer untersucht. Eine besondere Herausforderung ist, passende Präventions- und Interventionsmaßnahmen zu finden, um häuslicher Gewalt weitgehend vorzubeugen oder entgegenzuwirken. Abschließend wird ein zusammenfassendes Fazit formuliert, in welchem nochmal genauer auf die Fragestellung eingegangen wird.

B. in ein Frauenhaus, zu Freunden, zu den Großeltern/Eltern etc.). Auch langfristige Folgen wie Depressionen oder Folgen auf die Entwicklung und das Verhalten von direkt oder auch indirekt betroffenen Kindern können aus dem Erleben häuslicher Gewalt entstehen.
