Book Synopsis Everybody for Everybody by : Samuel A. Nigro
Download or read book Everybody for Everybody written by Samuel A. Nigro and published by Xlibris Corporation. This book was released on 2012 with total page 802 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: EVERYONE FOR EVERYONE the book (volumes I & II) by Samuel A. Nigro, M.D. The Everybody for Everybody Book is the accumulation of what was learned over 70 plus years of life, over 45 years of marriage, over 40 years as a psychiatrist, 3 years in the U.S. Navy Submarine Service, and as a first generation American with five children and ten grandchildren. The planet and mankind are amazing. To limit ourselves to behaviors as if there is nothing more, is contradicted by an accurate comprehensive understanding of the planet and the universe. Basically, love is superior to all and the universe is the entropy necessary for the expression of love. Love itself requires there to be more. Nothing more is a cruel joke that life and love are meaningless. All logic and reason demand there be more, and we should act as if there is even much more love in anticipation. And if there isn t, then there ought to be! Regardless, the world would be better by believing in such and acting as such. The book provides some articles but most of it is the way to live a transcendental life: organized matter sanctified and given a soul by identity, truth, oneness, good and beauty for everyone s life, liberty, and pursuit of happiness partially the subtitle of the book. You get substance and the transcendental principles for living that save by actuality for a change. This is in contrast to the virtual reality culture of the unreliable manipulating self-discrediting noisy glitzy press&media imposed substanceless non-being which, by suggestibility, turns us into choiceless aliens instead of free persons for the planet. By the self-worshiping self-discrediting press&media, we are on the madman road-rage race to the bottom culture of pollution, disgust, death, and decline. Not by this book. Against vulgar suggestibility and glitz caused gullibility, this book gives real being by teaching six analogous ways of living the wisdom-filled eight categories of metaphors of love in the cone of space-time: As a human particle by elementary physics event, spectrum, field, quantum, singularity, dimension, uncertainty, and force. As a human being by community universals dignity, unity, integrity, identity, spirituality, life, liberty, and pursuit of happiness. As a C/catholic, Roman or otherwise, by the sacraments Baptism, Penance, Holy Communion, Extreme Unction, Holy Orders, Matrimony, and Grace. As a Christian by the virtues faith, hope, charity, prudence, justice, courage, temperance, and holiness. As a patient by the universal variables of all therapy living things are precious, selective ignoring, subdued spontaneity non-self excluded, affect assistance, detached warmth & gentleness, non-reactive listening, C2CC centered candidness, and peace & mercy. And as sanctified by the last words of the crucified Christ. Take your pick or combine them all. Except for the quantity, it is simple. Thousands of aphorisms and concepts about every imaginable topic are offered to teach ancient secrets from nature and nature s God (to quote the Founding Fathers of America). Interspersed in the book are the world s first SEX SATIRES...fiery hilarious...which will help all cope with the prurience flooding the world as entertainment, advertisement and games. SEX SATIRE, properly applied to those exploiting sex, will free you from sex craziness and help keep society s prurience from disrupting your transcendental life. Read it through once; then a few pages or a chapter daily; and problem-solve as needed by index and perusal. You will be better. The world will be better. You will learn to be a real human being for everyone. And you will have your soul back by embracing the universal Mass mantra: life-sacrifice-virtue-lovehumanity- peace-freedom-death.
Book Synopsis Happiness and Other Small Things of Absolute Importance by : Haim Shapira
Download or read book Happiness and Other Small Things of Absolute Importance written by Haim Shapira and published by Watkins Media Limited. This book was released on 2016-08-16 with total page 202 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: We all want to be happy but what is happiness? Haim Shapira navigates the terrain of happiness, exploring and contemplating an eclectic range of theories and insights into the conflicts we face on our journey to creating our own happiness. What is your happiest moment? How can you know it? Do we waste time or does time waste us? Are questions about meaning truly meaningful? What’s really important? Drawing on literary and philosophical sources ranging from Alice in Wonderland and The Little Prince to Leo Tolstoy, King Solomon and Friedrich Nietzsche, Haim Shapira invites us to challenge our perspectives on happiness and provides us with alternative ways to appreciate what is important. As Haim concludes it is in the spaces between the possible paths that we might take that we are able to find a place of grace, and where the things that matter to us will light our way. The choice is ours.

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: USE PARAGRAPHS BELOW FOR BACK COVER OF BOOK _________________________________________________________________________________ As I tried to fall asleep that night, my thoughts kept returning to the words I had shared with the little girl. All of a sudden, I remembered Norma Jean and the story she had told me two and a half years before. Oh, my, could it be possible both of them had been telling me of the same little boy? I knew then God was trying to tell me something. Why else would he have placed these two people in my path more than two years apart. There had to be a reason I was there with Jan now. So many lives have touched mine and their stories are waiting to be heard. Within these pages are the joys, the pain, the understanding, the love, the laughter and God's plan in each circumstance. Each word is a glimpse into the inner being behind the face, through the eyes, which watch the world around me. You just never know where God will lead you and you never know what God is leading you to. But you can rest in the knowledge He has a plan and a reason for you to be where He places you each and every day of your life. Keep your eyes open because it is always there in wait for you to recognize and grasp...God's outstretched, guiding hand.

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: The complex nature of globalization increasingly requires a comparative approach to literature in order to understand how migration and commodity flows impact aesthetic production and expressive practices. This special issue of Symbolism: An International Journal of Critical Aesthetics explores the trans-American dimensions of Latina/o literature in a trans-Atlantic context. Examining the theoretical implications suggested by the comparison of the global North-global South dynamics of material and aesthetic exchange, this volume highlights emergent Latina/o authors, texts, and methodologies of interest in for comparative literary studies. In the essays, literary scholars address questions of the transculturation, translation, and reception of Latina/o literature in the United States and Europe. In the interviews, emergent Latina/o authors speak to the processes of creative writing in a transnational context. This volume suggests how the trans-American dialogues found in contemporary Latina/o literature elucidates trans-Atlantic critical dialogues.

This is the first book to span the full range of disciplines concerned with analogy. Its contributors represent cognitive, developmental, and comparative psychology; neuroscience; artificial intelligence; linguistics; and philosophy. The book is divided into three parts. The first part describes computational models of analogy as well as their relation to computational models of other cognitive processes. The second part addresses the role of analogy in a wide range of cognitive tasks, such as forming complex cognitive structures, conveying emotion, making decisions, and solving problems. The third part looks at the development of analogy in children and the possible use of analogy in nonhuman primates. Contributors Miriam Bassok, Consuelo B.
