With this object in view, I have in some instances confined my remarks chiefly to the differential diagnosis. For example, in such well-known maladies as Scabies and Eczema, I have not thought it necessary to give a very minute description of the disease, but have rather preferred to draw attention to the peculiarities and distinctive points which enable us to form a sound and rapid diagnosis.
