Debido a este cambio cultural, en el que aún estamos inmersos, se ha creado la aversión a la lucha natural por la existencia, al grado que la guerra se ha hecho un fenómeno clandestino por haber sido colocada fuera de los causes de la política y del derecho. Carlos Salinas Granda logra un amplio despliegue de sus conocimientos sobre el tema estudiado tanto en lo filosófico, lo político y lo jurídico, pero al mismo tiempo también realiza un despliegue de pasión, no sólo por el tema que lo ha seducido sino por su búsqueda incansable de la verdad, el saber y la belleza, aunque muchas veces pudiera parecer, que ello, ya sólo existe en el mundo de ayer. In this respect, as suggested above, the “state of emergency” that according to Benjamin has become the rule isn’t the consequence of violence. On the contrary, it’s the attempt to suspend combat, to externally impose upon peoples a fictive unity (the unity of their ‘needs’) and to extract from peoples their ability to use force as well as do battle against the sovereign.
