And that is the Father of Jesus who is in heaven. Our Father in heaven rules with utmost fairness and justice, full of mercy, and forgiveness. He achieves this kind of ruling through his LAW OF NATURE. Curiously, his Law of Nature works so quietly that people think there is no God at all that is governing their lives. This is because under God’s Law of Nature, people have all the freedom to behave the kind of behavior they want, to lead the kind of life they want, and to make the kind of world they want—EXCEPT FOR ONE: No one can get away from the consequences of their actions. Good deeds shall draw good outcome, bad deeds shall draw bad outcome. “What you sow is what you reap.” Happy reading!

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: How ancient thinkers grappled with competing conceptions of divine law In the thousand years before the rise of Islam, two radically diverse conceptions of what it means to say that a law is divine confronted one another with a force that reverberates to the present. What's Divine about Divine Law? untangles the classical and biblical roots of the Western idea of divine law and shows how early adherents to biblical tradition—Hellenistic Jewish writers such as Philo, the community at Qumran, Paul, and the talmudic rabbis—struggled to make sense of this conflicting legacy. Christine Hayes shows that for the ancient Greeks, divine law was divine by virtue of its inherent qualities of intrinsic rationality, truth, universality, and immutability, while for the biblical authors, divine law was divine because it was grounded in revelation with no presumption of rationality, conformity to truth, universality, or immutability. Hayes describes the collision of these opposing conceptions in the Hellenistic period, and details competing attempts to resolve the resulting cognitive dissonance. She shows how Second Temple and Hellenistic Jewish writers, from the author of 1 Enoch to Philo of Alexandria, were engaged in a common project of bridging the gulf between classical and biblical notions of divine law, while Paul, in his letters to the early Christian church, sought to widen it. Hayes then delves into the literature of classical rabbinic Judaism to reveal how the talmudic rabbis took a third and scandalous path, insisting on a construction of divine law intentionally at odds with the Greco-Roman and Pauline conceptions that would come to dominate the Christianized West. A stunning achievement in intellectual history, What's Divine about Divine Law? sheds critical light on an ancient debate that would shape foundational Western thought, and that continues to inform contemporary views about the nature and purpose of law and the nature and authority of Scripture.

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: A longstanding question at the intersection of science, philosophy, and theology is how God might act, or not, when governing the universe. Many believe that determinism would prevent God from acting at all, since to do so would require violating the laws of nature. However, when a robust view of these laws is coupled with the kind of determinism now used in dynamics, a new model of divine action emerges. This book presents a new approach to divine action beyond the current focus on quantum mechanics and esoteric gaps in the causal order. It bases this approach on two general points. First, that there are laws of nature is not merely a metaphor. Second, laws and physical determinism are now understood in mathematically precise ways that have important implications for metaphysics. The explication of these two claims shows not only that nonviolationist divine action is possible, but there is considerably more freedom available for God to act than current models allow. By bringing a philosophical perspective to an issue often dominated by theologians and scientists, this text redresses an imbalance in the discussion around divine action. It will, therefore, be of keen interest to scholars of Philosophy and Religion, the Philosophy of Science, and Theology.

Now he turns to the most important subject of all - understanding people's drives and motivations, even when they are unconscious of them themselves. We are social animals. Our very lives depend on our relationships with people. Knowing why people do what they do is the most important tool we can possess, without which our other talents can only take us so far. Drawing from the ideas and examples of Pericles, Queen Elizabeth I, Martin Luther King Jr, and many others, Greene teaches us how to detach ourselves from our own emotions and master self-control, how to develop the empathy that leads to insight, how to look behind people's masks, and how to resist conformity to develop your singular sense of purpose. Whether at work, in relationships, or in shaping the world around you, The Laws of Human Nature offers brilliant tactics for success, self-improvement, and self-defense.

Book excerpt: Luke 12:1, Jesus said: “Be on your guard against the yeast of the Pharisees, which is hypocrisy.” In the same breath, I say to you: “Beware of the yeast of Paul’s Christianity which is lie and hypocrisy.” All I see today are the Christians of Paul, hardly the Christians of Jesus. Where is Jesus? He is there still buried beneath the 2,000 years of lies and hypocrisies of the Christianity of Paul. If the Jews crucified the living Jesus on the cross, the Christianity of Paul murdered the risen Christ right after his resurrection. Behold the “TEN GREATEST LIES & HYPOCRISIES” that up to now are wreaking havoc in our Christian world. Happy reading!

Paul was so good as a deceiver that he was able to deceive everyone who listened to his gospel, including no less than the “early church fathers” that approved his epistles to be included in the New Testament. Paul was so good as a deceiver that he was able to deceive even the “experts of the word of God,” such as the bible scholars, theologians, teachers, preachers and ministers—up to now! Most importantly, Paul was so good as a deceiver that his teaching already supplanted the very teachings of Jesus that in all homilies and preaching around the world, it is his words that are mostly quoted, hardly the words of Jesus. Behold in this book: “THE SECRET OF SATAN USED BY PAUL TO DECEIVE THE WHOLE CHRISTAIN WORLD.” Happy reading!
