Book excerpt: Life Is Never Mainly About Love and Marriage. So Learn to Live and Date for More. Many of you grew up assuming that marriage would meet all of your needs and unlock God's purposes for you. But God has far more planned for you than your future marriage. Not Yet Married is not about waiting quietly in the corner of the world for God to bring you "the one," but about inspiring you to live and date for more now. If you follow Jesus, the search for a spouse is no longer a pursuit of the perfect person, but a pursuit of more of God. He will likely write a love story for you different than the one you would write for yourself, but that's because he loves you and knows how to write a better story. This book was written to help you find real hope, happiness, and purpose in your not-yet-married life.
Book Synopsis Gospel-Centered Discipleship by : Jonathan K. Dodson
Download or read book Gospel-Centered Discipleship written by Jonathan K. Dodson and published by Crossway. This book was released on 2012-03-31 with total page 178 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Reflecting on the practice of disciple making in young adult, college, graduate, and local church contexts, Jonathan Dodson has discerned some common pitfalls. For many, discipleship is reduced to a form of religious performance before God. For others, it devolves into spiritual license and a loose adherence to spiritual facts. Both approaches distort biblical motivations for Christian obedience and are in need of reform. By explaining various motivations for discipleship, Dodson charts a biblically faithful, grace-driven alternative. Additionally, he provides a practical model for creating gospel-centered discipleship groups—small, reproducible, missional, gender-specific groups of believers that fight for faith together. This book blends both theology and practice to inspire and equip Christians to effectively fight sin, keep Jesus central, and make gospel-centered discipleship a way of life. Both new and growing Christians will learn to trust the gospel in community as they fight together for holiness as well as how to start gospel-centered community groups in any local church.

Mary Is Assuredly Not Divine (Matthew 13:53-58) The Apostle Matthew is telling us that the Word of Jesus was spoken to everyone in this world, for he saw Jesus as the King of kings. Now, Christians throughout the world, who have just been born again by believing in the gospel of the water and the Spirit that we are spreading, are indeed yearning to feed on the bread of life. But it is difficult for them to have fellowship with us in the true gospel, for they are all far away from us. Therefore, to meet the spiritual needs of these people of Jesus Christ, the King of kings, the sermons in this book have been prepared as new bread of life for them to nourish their spiritual growth. The author proclaims that those who have received the remission of their sins by believing in the Word of Jesus Christ, the King of kings, must feed on His pure Word in order to defend their faith and sustain their spiritual lives. This book will provide the real spiritual bread of life to all of you who have become the royal people of the King by faith. Through His Church and servants, God will continue to provide you with this bread of life. May God's blessings be on all of you who have been born again of water and the Spirit, who desire to have true spiritual fellowship with us in Jesus Christ. Book Synopsis Heretics, Who Followed the Sins of Jeroboam (I) by : Rev. Paul C. Jong
Download or read book Heretics, Who Followed the Sins of Jeroboam (I) written by Rev. Paul C. Jong and published by Hephzibah Publishing House. This book was released on with total page 326 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Table of Contents 1. Who Are Heretics before God? (1 Kings 11:1-13) 2. Who Are Christians That Believe in Jesus within the Framework of Their Own Fleshly Thinking? (1 Kings 12:25-33) 3. Following the Desires of the Flesh Will Make You Turn into a Heretic Automatically (1 Kings 12:1-18) 4. In Which Gospel Do You Now Believe? (1 Kings 13:33-34) 5. Today’s Christians Who Have Replaced God with Mammon Are Idolaters before God (1 Kings 11:1-13) 6. How Does God Save Heretics? (1 Kings 19:1-21) 7. You Must Believe That John the Baptist Is the Representative of All Mankind (Matthew 11:1-19) 8. Seven Types of People Who Will Be Cursed by God (Matthew 23:1-36) 9. Heal Bad Water with Salt (2 Kings 2:19-22) In the Bible, the people of Israel claim to worship God, but ultimately, following Jeroboam, they were worshipping the golden calves. In fact, more than 2/3 of the history of Israelites was a history of having worshipped the golden calves, thinking them to be God. Ultimately, even now, they continue to go on living without realizing the fact that Jesus Christ, who has come by the gospel of the water and the Spirit, is their true Savior. In spite of it all, there are many Jews who are waiting for their Savior, even now. Then, how is the faith of you who claim to be taking part in Christianity in this New Testament Era? Do you currently believe in and follow God with a proper understanding of Him? If not, aren't you perhaps worshipping golden calves with a misapprehension of them as God? If you are like that, then you must become aware of the fact that you are worshipping an idol before God like the people of Israel. Then, you must revert back and meet the Lord who has come by the gospel of the water and the Spirit. I am sure that you will be able to believe in the gospel Truth when you truly realize before God what the Truth of the salvation in the gospel of the water and the Spirit is, won't you? I wish to testify before you the true faith and the Truth under the title, "Heretics, Who Followers the sins of Jeroboam." By all means, I hope you will be a person of the same faith as that of mine. Book Synopsis The God Of Love And Vengeance by : Anatoly Brodsky, MD
Download or read book The God Of Love And Vengeance written by Anatoly Brodsky, MD and published by Covenant Books, Inc.. This book was released on 2021-09-15 with total page 167 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Many great books have been written about God over the years that teach us about His nature. Others have written inspirational books to motivate us to strive for a closer personal relationship with our Creator. Despite having unprecedented access to scripture, as well as the great books which have already been written, the church of today has developed a skewed understanding of God. Many have come to regard God as an Old Man somewhere in the heavens whose primary desire is for His creation to live in comfort and happiness without regard to our sinful state. In many corners, the church has become a social club where like-minded people get together to be entertained. In other corners of Christianity, the focus is on financial prosperity. The real biblical teaching of who God is, what He expects of His creation, and the methods He uses to transform His people into His image does not sell many books, nor does it fill the half-empty churches of our time. The purpose of my books is to present to the readers the God of the Bible. He is the God of love, but He is also the God of justice. He is a God of grace, but He is also a God of vengeance. He is a God of mercy, but He is also the consuming fire. Christianity is not a new religion; it is a story of the fulfillment of promises made to the Jewish people. The God of the new covenant is also the God of the Mosaic covenant. My desire is to remind the church that she belongs to a jealous God who will fight for her and do what is necessary to present her to Himself as a chaste bride, without spot and blemish and one who is separated from this world. Relying on the imagery and symbolism of the entire Bible, I reveal (to the best of my understanding) God’s plan for the church as described in the book of Revelation. My desire is that this book will serve to sound an alarm for the church to awake from its slumber and to prepare her for spiritual warfare.
