Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Special Interest Categories: physics; astrophysics; space engineering. In the monograph, the results of experimental investigations of the global anisotropy of physical space hypothetically caused by the existence of cosmological vectorial potential, a new fundamental vectorial constant associated with a new anisotropic interaction of objects in nature, are presented. The above interaction is distinct from the four existing ones: the strong, weak, electromagnetic, and gravitational interactions. It is shown that the same anisotropic property of the physical space manifests itself with a high degree of reliability ( 0.95) in experimental investigations performed with the aid of torsion and piezoresonance quartz balances posed in high-current magnets, in investigations of changes of (-decay rate of radioactive elements as well as in experiments with plasma devices, a system of quartz resonators, and two high-accuracy quartz gravimeter 'Sodin' one of which is with a specially attached magnet. physical space reveals itself in the anisotropic distribution of earthquakes above 6 Richter numbers of power (for the spatially immobile Globe), in the distribution of solar flares on the surface of the immobile Sun, in the distribution of pulsars in the Galaxy and possibly in the suggested rotation of the Metagalaxy.

This book was released on 2000 with total page 238 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: In the book, an unconventional physical model of creation of the observed physical space from a finite set of special discrete objects, byuons is presented. The global space anisotropy associated with a cosmological vectorial potential appearing in the definition of byuons, as well as a new interaction due to this anisotropy, are predicted. Results of an experimental investigation of the proposed new interaction are given. A new method of power production based on the new interaction, as well as a new principle of motion of objects in nature with the use of physical space as a support medium, are advanced. The book is intended for the general reading public, physicists (theorists and experimenters), astrophysicists, engineers (specialists in space technology and power engineering), and physical students.

Book excerpt: This Worldwide List of Alternative Theories and Critics (only avalailable in english language) includes scientists involved in scientific fields. The 2023 issue of this directory includes the scientists found in the Internet. The scientists of the directory are only those involved in physics (natural philosophy). The list includes 9700 names of scientists (doctors or diplome engineers for more than 70%). Their position is shortly presented together with their proposed alternative theory when applicable. There are nearly 3500 authors of such theories, all amazingly very different from one another. The main categories of theories are presented in an other book of Jean de Climont THE ALTERNATIVE THEORIES

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Is God temporal, 'in time', or atemporal, 'outside of time'? Garrett DeWeese begins with contemporary metaphysics and physics, developing a causal account of dynamic time. Drawing on biblical material as well as discussions of divine temporality in medieval and contemporary philosophical theology, DeWeese concludes that God is temporal but not in physical time as we measure it. Interacting with issues in the history of philosophy, contemporary philosophy of science, and philosophy of religion, this book offers students a thorough introduction to the key issues and key figures in historical and contemporary work on the philosophy of time and time in theology.

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: A multidisciplinary perspective on the dynamic processes occurring in Earth's mantle The convective motion of material in Earth's mantle, powered by heat from the deep interior of our planet, drives plate tectonics at the surface, generating earthquakes and volcanic activity. It shapes our familiar surface landscapes, and also stabilizes the oceans and atmosphere on geologic timescales. Mantle Convection and Surface Expressions brings together perspectives from observational geophysics, numerical modelling, geochemistry, and mineral physics to build a holistic picture of the deep Earth. It explores the dynamic processes occurring in the mantle as well as the associated heat and material cycles. Volume highlights include: Perspectives from different scientific disciplines with an emphasis on exploring synergies Current state of the mantle, its physical properties, compositional structure, and dynamic evolution Transport of heat and material through the mantle as constrained by geophysical observations, geochemical data and geodynamic model predictions Surface expressions of mantle dynamics and its control on planetary evolution and habitability The American Geophysical Union promotes discovery in Earth and space science for the benefit of humanity. Its publications disseminate scientific knowledge and provide resources for researchers, students, and professionals.
