Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Hybrid RV living is an exciting, full-time RV lifestyle where you have both an RV and your own lot with full hookups. The lot often includes a small house or casita to use while you're there. It's a fantastic way to transition from a home to the freedom you get with full-time RV living. In the post-pandemic world, especially in the U.S., RVing is expected to grow exponentially as a way to take the family out to see the country, without the dangers of an infected hotel room -- and while still having all the comforts and safety of home. But, unfortunately, there are just not enough RV resorts to handle this new growth, especially for seasonal rentals, where you stay longer than a few days. Owning your own lot in an RV resort solves this problem. As my wife, Sharon, and I have traveled, we have met many people who are selling their homes to become full-timers in their RVs. We made the switch five years ago. We had owned RVs for years, but Sharon wasn't ready to be a nomad. As she told me, she needed a permanent address. That's when we discovered the Hybrid RV lifestyle! We bought into an RV resort in Florida that offers RV lots for sale as well as small houses and full resort amenities. This satisfied Sharon's need to have a permanent home (and mine too) and lets us still enjoy RV living. We use the RV as our master suite and the small house for everything else -- relaxing, cooking, laundry, and it even has a guest room. It provides a permanent address for mail, homestead, and residency. We are full-time Hybrid RV living! It takes a lot of courage and planning to sell your home and become a full-time RVer, and isn't for everyone. That's why the hybrid lifestyle is perfect, as it combines the benefits of both RV living and home living. It's a journey that we hope to share with you. If you have ever dreamed of the freedom of an RV, but didn't know how to make the transition, let us help you! This is why we created - "The Hybrid RV Lifestyle - a Guide to Transitioning RIGHT the First Time" to answer all of your questions. This is a comprehensive book designed to help you make good decisions and avoid mistakes as you embark on your journey to a Hybrid RV Lifestyle. We cover selecting the right RV, selling your home, finding the right lot, storage, insurance, homestead, connectivity, home schooling, and working from the road, along with a host of other things that are critical to transitioning to a Hybrid RV lifestyle. As a bonus, we give you access to our personalized list of available RV parks that sell lots. We have been traveling the country filming different resorts that sell deeded lots, RV homes, coach houses, and casitas (small suites) that are available to purchase. We have also collected information and prices so it will make it easier for you to find the right place, keep mama happy (papa too) and make your journey smoother and more enjoyable. Book excerpt: Buddhism is all about training the mind, and boot camp is an ideal training method for this generation’s short attention span. The chapters in this small book can be read in any order, and are simple and easy to understand. Each story, inspirational quote and teaching offers mindfulness-enhancing techniques that anyone can relate to. You don’t need to be a Buddhist to find this book motivational. As the Dalai Lama says, “Don’t try to use what you learn from Buddhism to be a Buddhist; use it to be a better whatever-you-already-are.” Whether it’s Mother Teresa’s acts of charity, Gandhi’s perseverance, or your aunt Betty’s calm demeanor, it doesn’t matter who inspires you, so long as you’re motivated to be better today than you were yesterday. Regardless or religion or geographical region, race, ethnicity, color, gender, sexual orientation, age, ability, flexibility, or vulnerability, if you do good, you feel good, and if you do bad, you feel bad. If you agree that Buddhism isn’t just about meditating, but also about rolling up your sleeves and relieving some of the suffering in the world, then you are ready to be a soldier of peace in the army of love; welcome to Buddhist Boot Camp!

Book excerpt: The ultimate log book for RVers who want to keep great records of where they've been! Record campground information like: Hookups available Bathhouse conditions Amenities Road Conditions Campsite conditions Management/Staff Info Booking/Cancellation Notes Local Area Notes Sightseeing Notes and A LOT more! There's even extra space to add your own notes for each site! Great for RVing in: Class A Motorhomes Class C Motorhomes Travel Trailer RV 5th Wheel RV Class B Motorhome Custom Vans This book is an amazing tool for your travel adventures. We, as full-time RVers ourselves, wanted to produce something that would actually be useful for other RV travelers. Our goal was to create a place where you can record all of the great (and sometimes not so great) notes & impressions of your camping spots as you wander about in your RV. We made this book a place to store information but also easily find those notes again later, so we incorporated an easy-to-use referencing system, organized by U.S. state (or you can fill in your own regions). This way, when you need to look back on your notes from two, three, or even 20 years later, you will be able to quickly find them. Here's how to use this book: Log Your Stays: Turn to the first log and start writing! Use our prompted notes and checkoffs to record basic information and then also add your own notes as a refresher for your memory later. We didn't make space for every possible scenario (there are so many!) So, use the extra space to write down anything you think you might want to know later. For instance, you may note more things like low/high water pressure, road noise, or management/staff names & notes. Did you spend way too much on laundry here? Make a note of it! Did you see a sasquatch walk casually through your campground on Friday night? Make a note of it! And share the picture! You did get one, right? Our Referencing System: It's so simple! Let's begin with the Site Logs. Each Site Log has a number in the corner. When you log a campsite, take a second to record that site's Log Number in the back of the book in its reference section. Most reference sections are simply a state. However, some states are larger (and more popular) than others, so we broke them down into smaller regions for even quicker reference. For instance, we've broken Texas down to 5 regions: North, West, Central, Gulf Coast & Panhandle. Maintenance Logs: In the back of the book, there are pages dedicated for recording RV maintenance. Just record the date, service performed, mileage, and any other notes there so you have that information later. Praise for The Ultimate RV Logbook: "In the past, I tried to keep track of campground details using our Google Calendar....but, we've gotten really bad about recording the details. What I really needed was this." ">Let's Travel Family RV Travel Blog "We were keeping similar notes in a blank notebook, but our entries were always inconsistent and we always forgot to note something. With "The Ultimate RV Logbook" we will be able to keep consistent records in neat and organized fashion." - Exploring The Local Life, RV Travel Blog

I have shared my feelings, tips, experiences, and advice, including interesting places to visit and personal recommendations of our favorite RV parks. This unique book is backed up by an array of original photos highlighting places, events, national parks, and RV resorts. If you are ready for this lifestyle, it gives an account of selling your home, buying the right motorhome, where to register it, and everything needed to get on the road. It gives you an idea of how to set up a budget, save on discounts and even earn money while on this full-time adventure. This is more than a "How to Book". It is the real-life experiences my wife and I have shared in this mobile living as full-time RVers. The book is written for both beginners who want to know what this RV life is all about and for experts who are looking for more adventure along the way.I always said that RV life is not for everyone, but for those who want the excitement and independence of living free on the open road, this book is for you. I hope that after reading it you will find it useful in your quest for a carefree RV life.
