In meiner Diplomarbeit habe ich mich dabei auf den Jugendhilfebereich beschrankt. Dort werden sich in den nachsten Jahren starke Veranderungen - auch im Bereich der Finanzierung - ergeben. Die Diplomarbeit konnte eine Anregung darstellen, sich mit der bisherigen Finanzierungsstruktur der eigenen Nonprofit-Organisation auseinander zusetzen und neue Modelle zu entwickeln. Wenngleich insbesondere der Jugendhilfesektor der Diplomarbeit zugrunde liegt, konnen die Inhalte im wesentlichen auf andere soziale Bereiche von Nonprofit-Organisationen angewandt werden. Gang der Untersuchung: In der Vorgehensweise - als Grundlage, uber eine Nonprofit-Organisation zu schreiben - klare ich zunachst den Begriff in Abschnitt (1). Der Begriff leitet schon auf ein Spezifikum sozialer Arbeit, den gemeinnutzigen Bereich, hin. Daher folgt im Abschnitt (2) eine Klarung von Gemeinsamkeiten von gemeinnutzigen Tragern, freien Tragern und Nonprofit-Organisationen. Im Sinne des Bezugs der Diplomarbeit auf den Jugendhilfebereich ist beim freien Trager dann meist der freie Trager der Jugendhilfe gemeint. Abschnitt (3) behandelt mogliche Rechtsformen von Nonprofit-Organisationen im Jugendhilfebereich. Nach einer allgemeinen Begriffsklarung des Vereins als Korperschaft werden die haufigsten Rechtsformen in der Jugendhilfe vorgestellt. Die praktischen Erfahrungen, die ich im Rahmen meines Studiums sammeln konnte, haben mir gezeigt, dass die Vielfältigkeit von Finanzierungsmöglichkeiten in den Einrichtungen oft nicht bekannt sind. Wer aber weiterhin auf dem Markt der Sozialen Arbeit Erfolg haben will und neue Ideen und Projekte verwirklichen möchte, muss Kenntnisse über den Finanzierungs-Mix besitzen. Zudem hat sich der Beruf der Fundraiserinnen und des Fundraisers schon in vielen Organisationen etabliert und bietet somit eine neue Berufschance auch für SozialpädagogInnen. Die aktuelle Wirtschaftslage erfordert ein Umdenken in der Sozialen Arbeit. Viele SozialpädagogInnen sträuben sich nach wie vor, sich mit der sozialökonomischen Neuorientierung zu befassen. Ich halte es für notwendig sich mit dieser Thematik auseinander zusetzen. Daher werde ich im Rahmen dieser Diplomarbeit die Finanzierungsmöglichkeiten für Nonprofit Organisationen darstellen. Ich möchte dem Leser zu Beginn einen Einblick über mögliche Finanzierungsformen der Sozialen Arbeit gewähren, bevor ich die Stellenwerte der einzelnen Finanzierungsformen der Sozialen Arbeit in Deutschland betrachte. Im Anschluss werde ich mich eingehend mit den einzelnen Finanzierungsmöglichkeiten auseinandersetzen. Den Schwerpunkt meiner Diplomarbeit lege ich dabei auf die alternativen Finanzierungsmöglichkeiten, dem so genannten Fundraising. Der Begriff Fundraising wird erläutert und anschließend der aktuelle Fundraising-Markt in Deutschland, mit seiner Bedeutung für die Soziale Arbeit dargestellt. Die Erklärung der einzelnen Finanzierungsformen im Rahmen vom Fundraising, wird auch den Bezug zwischen Theorie und Praxis beinhalten, indem ich die Möglichkeiten und Grenzen einzelner alternativer Finanzierungsformen aufzeige. Die angeführten Praxisbeispiele, sowie die Zusammenfassung werden sich auf Grund meines fachlichen Hintergrundes häufig auf den Bereich der Sozialen Dienste und Hilfen beziehen. Diese Diplomarbeit soll dem Leser einen Überblick gewähren, um einzelne Finanzierungsarten einschätzen und deren Anwendbarkeit für einzelne Organisationen überprüfen zu können. Für eine funktionierende Gesellschaft werden funktionierende Non-Profit-Organisationen jedoch zwingend benötigt, denn diese leisten weltweit wichtige Beiträge. Intakte und unabhängige NPOs gelten beispielsweise als eine der wichtigsten Grundlagen einer freien Wirtschaft und Gesellschaft, denn die Summe dieser, unter anderem bestehend aus der öffentlichen Verwaltung sowie Sozial-, Gesundheits- und Kulturorganisationen, bildet die Basis für private Haushalte und Forprofit-Organisationen. Funktionierende NPOs sollten daher das höchste Interesse einer Gesellschaft sein. Umso wichtiger ist es, ein besonderes Augenmerk auf die Finanzierung zu richten, ohne die eine NPO langfristig nicht überlebensfähig wäre. Angesichts der immer schwieriger werdenden staatlichen Finanzierung, nehmen alternative Finanzierungsmöglichkeiten an Bedeutung zu. Daraus ergibt sich die zentrale Fragestellung, welche Möglichkeiten der Finanzierung sich für Non-Profit-Organisationen in der heutigen Zeit bieten. Die Analyse sowie die kritische Beurteilung der Finanzierungsmöglichkeiten von NPOs, zunächst im theoretischen Kontext und anschließend anhand einer bestehenden NPO im sozialen Bereich, stellen das Ziel dieser Arbeit dar. Die Arbeit beginnt mit der Einleitung, welche sich in Problemstellung sowie Ziel und Gang gliedern lässt. Darauffolgend befasst sich das zweite Kapitel mit dem theoretischen Kontext von NPOs und geht somit neben der Begriffsbestimmung und den möglichen Formen insbesondere auf die detaillierte Aufgliederung und Beschreibung der verschiedenen Finanzierungsmöglichkeiten und deren Grenzen ein. Die Finanzierung innerhalb einer bestehenden NPO wird im dritten Kapitel analysiert, wodurch die in Kapitel Zwei aufgeführten theoretischen Grundlagen durch Beispiele aus der Praxis untermauert werden sollen. Im vierten Kapitel werden die gewonnen Erkenntnisse zu einem Fazit zusammengefasst und somit der Abschluss dieser Arbeit gebildet.
