Actuellement, il n'existe pas de moyens biologiques ou cliniques permettant de définir ce risque, c'est pourquoi la décision finale de prise en charge de l'enfant ce fait en étroite collaboration entre l'équipe médicale (hématologue, pédiatre) et le chirurgien dentiste en se basant sur l'historique médical du patient et les explorations biologiques de l'hémostase.
