Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Made Whole Made Simple is not about any particular diet; it is about walking away from fad diets and putting the focus on you—the individual. It is everything but diet and all about learning to UNDIET. Made Whole Made Simple will be your companion to navigating self-healing through real food and healthy habits. This book tackles nutrition in a straightforward way, focusing on how the body uses food to create energy and why metabolic flexibility (the body’s ability to utilize whatever fuel it is given) is so important. The first section of the book covers some biochemistry basics, walking you through a nutritional therapy approach with actionable tips to get your body back in balance. “Knowing how it works” is the first step in figuring out “how it works for me.” The foundations of health are broken down into four sections: digestion; hydration & mineral balance; blood sugar regulation; and fatty acid balance. Each foundation features a Farmacy graphic listing which nutrients support that system of the body and why, giving you the information you need to target those areas that are in need of healing. This book makes using food as medicine easy and approachable with 140 allergy-friendly recipes, all of which are free of grain, gluten, soy, and nightshades. Minimal amounts of dairy and nuts are used, and many of the recipes are coconut-free, egg-free, and AIP compliant as well. For added convenience, many of the recipes can be made in one pot, on a sheet pan, or in a slow cooker or pressure cooker—and some require no cooking at all. Icons mark those recipes that use five ingredients or less or take 30 minutes or less to prepare. All of these easy recipes are nutrient-dense, using the entire Farmacy to nourish you and your family so that you can lose weight, reverse inflammation, and feel your best without having to slave away in the kitchen or sacrifice flavor. Made Whole Made Simple is complete with cutting-edge information on stress management, metabolic flexibility, fasting, immune health, and hormone balance with actionable steps that can be put in place on day 1.

Book excerpt: I have been a Nutritionist since 1998 and been interested in health issues all my life. I believe that we need to take extra vitamins and minerals supplements, (read chapter 8) as the fresh food we eat today is not as healthy as in our 'grandparents' day; our soil has been depleted of minerals from mass production.I have to say this: that it's your body and if something does not feel right get to the bottom of it - go for blood tests or even x-rays to get answers. General Practitioners - GP's, only study about 3 to 5% of nutrition in all the years they study to become doctors. Common ailments normally respond well to the treatment with herbal remedies and a diet of fruit and vegetables. Some I have gone into a little more detail of how Alternative Medicines (read chapter 5) deals with ailments or dis-eases of the body. All forms of holistic medicine rely on the basic concept of identifying and treating the causes of the illness rather than suppressing symptoms through medication or pain killers. You can become a healthier, happy and a more successful person (read chapter 1) by making a few simple changes to your eating habits and lifestyle (read chapter 7). Don't be the person who misses out on the opportunities in life because you don't understand the necessary principles of healthy living (read chapter 3). Be the kind of person others marvel at. Be the kind of person other people see and say, "I don't know how you stay and look so good". Be the kind of person who acts now. "A year from now you may wish you had started today" - Karen Lamb. The information in this book is intended as a sharing of knowledge and information. I encourage you to make your own health core decisions.

Book excerpt: Today literally millions of people who study Bible prophecy have their eyes fixed upon Jerusalem. Right now, all over the planet Earth, Christians are talking about the modern nation of Israel, a future rebuilt Jewish temple, and a final, bloody battle called Armageddon when hostile nations marshal their forces for war against the Jews. Do the climactic end-time prophecies of the book of Revelation really focus on the Middle East? This book takes a close look at the prophetic ideas of the majority of the Christian world. Based solidly on the Bible, its message could save your life.

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Yet again, author Steve Wohlberg artfully tackles a huge subject in just a handful of words. He brings into focus the seemingly nebulous topic of the emerging church movement by joining Scripture with history. Jesus Himself firmly noted to His disciples: “Take heed that no man deceive you. For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many” (Matthew 24:4&8211;5). The author makes Christ’s solemn warning personal in that “you” not only meant the disciples, but Christ was speaking directly to you, the reader. Emerging church proponents maintain that a change is needed in the church today; otherwise, many will be lost. They believe that changes need to be made in churches today to appeal to the electronically minded and to keep up with the times. Yet the God of the heavens exclaims, “I am the Lord, I do not change” (Malachi 3:6). The changes that emerging church advocates, such as Leonard Sweet, Brian McLaren, Richard Foster, and others, endorse are not really new. In fact, they are steeped in the Eastern mystic philosophies of Hinduism, Buddhism, and especially that of medieval Rome. “Eastern meditation is an attempt to empty the mind,” Richard Foster wrote in his book Celebration of Discipline. Those partisan to the emerging church doctrine look to Ignatius Loyola, who established the Society of Jesus or the Jesuits, as their founding father. “Inside a cave in Manresa, Spain, Ignatius emptied his mind. The otherworldly impressions did come from a ghostly entity claiming to be the Virgin Mary. That ghost gave directions. ‘Fine,’ Loyola decided. ‘I will obey’” (The Emerging Church Trap, page 24). Christ spoke directly to the danger of emptying our minds in the book of Matthew: “When an unclean spirit goes out of a man, he goes through dry places, seeking rest, and finds none. Then he says, ‘I will return to my house from which I came.’ And when he comes, he finds it empty, swept, and put in order. Then he goes and takes with him seven other spirits more wicked than himself, and they enter and dwell there; and the last state of that man is worse than the first. So shall it also be with this wicked generation.” (Matthew 12:43-45)

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Fabulous Body is a paradigm with 3 pillars, 9 fundamental laws that will act as a personal coach in your quest to build your ideal physique that you so deserve. Here are the Top 9 Reasons why you should read this book: -You want to build lean and proportionate muscles but don't want to look like a bodybuilder. I have gone from 140 pounds to 178 pounds (current) and I don't look like one; neither will you. The idea is to have enough muscles to keep people interested but not so much to scare them off. -You want to drop your body fat and bring it into the optimal range (for men, 9 to 14 percent; for women, 19 to 24 percent). -You want to build a pleasant looking body that is also functional and optimally healthy. The Fabulous Body training system (FBX) is a multifaceted system that ensures you develop a well-rounded physique. -You are serious about your health and fitness goals but have limited time. FBX optimizes your gene expression in only 3 - 6 hours per week. You don't need to do more. -You have limited funds to allocate to your health and fitness goals. FBX can be pursued with very basic equipment, including home gyms. Further, the Reality Diet (a term I used for a no-fad diet-notice it's not FAT but FAD) focuses on home-made meals with very little use of supplements. -You want to cut through the pseudo and bro science, which is rather overwhelming and confusing for most of us. This book provides you the "truth" that the conventional sources (supplement companies, muscle and fitness magazines) are hiding from you. -You are not looking for mere opinions but rather hard scientific facts. This book is linked with more than 100 scientific studies to support any concept or theory discussed. All these concepts have been part of my lifestyle long enough for me to know whether they work or not. I will never discuss something just because it is popular or trending. Furthermore you don't need to imbibe (or even believe) everything I say. I would be delighted if you internalize even a single idea from this book that pays you handsomely in long run. -You don't just need a book but a system, a workbook where you simply plug in and start your workouts immediately. There are 16 FBX printable workout routines in the added FREE BONUS REPORT that will get you started right off the bat. These workouts are divided into beginner, intermediate and advanced levels. They are further sub-divided into FBX-Cut and FBX-Gain to help you build muscles and lose fat efficiently and effectively. -You are open-minded. You have the courage to try something new or even radical and not simply follow what other people are doing in the gym.
