Gleichzeitig erweist sich die Integration ethischer Aspekte im von ökonomischen Herausforderungen geprägten Führungsalltag als diffizil. Innerhalb des wirtschaftsethischen Diskurses wird hinterfragt, ob und wie Führung, die nach ethischen Grundsätzen unter dem Aspekt des nachhaltigen Wohls von Mensch und Umwelt agiert, simultanen Anforderungen der Ökonomie und der Gewinnmaximierung als zentralem Überlebensprinzip der Unternehmen im Kontext des globalen Wettbewerbs noch gerecht werden kann.
