En el instrumento desarrollado se tuvieron en cuenta las variables de: productividad, competitividad, innovación y sostenibilidad; principales armas de diagnóstico y punto clave para la mejora del clima organizacional en La E.S.E Hospital San Jorge de Pereira. Se cuenta con las herramientas de análisis descriptivo y análisis de inferencia estadística, las cuales ayudan en el diagnóstico y a deducir propuestas y conclusiones.

La idea inicial surge en el Programa de Maestría en Administración del Desarrollo Humano y Organizacional, adscrito a la Facultad de Ingeniería Industrial de la Universidad Tecnológica de Pereira, por constituir un requisito de graduación para los estudiantes de la misma. La investigación es de tipo descriptivo cuantitativo en la modalidad de campo. La población fue de 189 trabajadores y la muestra de 150 trabajadores, se aplicó el cuestionario para la recolección de la información, el cual consto de 81 preguntas con cinco alternativas de respuesta. Se concluyo según los resultados obtenidos que el clima laboral de la institución es autoritario, ya que la dirección no tiene confianza en sus empleados y la mayor parte de las decisiones y de los objetivos se toman y plantean en la cima de la organización.

Book excerpt: Resumen: Se aborda esta investigación con el objeto de hondar varias dificultades laborales y administrativas que se presentan en la actualidad en el sector hospitalario y particularmente en La ESE Hospital Universitario San Jorge, la entidad asistencial más importante del departamento de Risaralda. Las quejas de los usuarios acerca del modelo y de la prestación de servicios por ser de manera reiterativa determinan que algo al interior de la institución no esta funcionando óptimamente. Por disposición de nuevas normatividades y con el fin de acudir a la figura de flexibilización laboral, ha venido tercerizando servicios básicos y complementarios, con la vinculación de personal adscrito a las denominadas Cooperativas Asociadas de Trabajo, las cuales suministran colaboradores que desempeñan diferentes funciones con modalidades de contratación específicas. Del total actual de 870 colaboradores, solamente 200 tienen vinculación directa con la Institución (trabajadores de planta) mientras los restantes 670 se encuentran asociados a 22 Cooperativas que tienen presencia en la misma. De allí que sea relativamente fácil comprender el panorama que se describió anteriormente, relacionado con el clima organizacional. Por lo tanto es de esperarse que la propuesta estratégica organizacional para la ESE Hospital Universitario San Jorge, desarrollada a partir de los resultados obtenidos con este estudio laboral sirvan de insumo tanto a la junta directiva institucional, como al gerente y a la comunidad en general para propender por un mejor servicio con dignidad y calidad.

En el estudio se utilizaron las herramientas de análisis de inferencia estadística lo que facilito y permitió el análisis de los resultados.
