These primordial postulates are the only building blocks of a model that explains the inevitable course of events that created our universe. The mathematics created within this process corrects the postulates used to develop the theories of relativity and quantum mechanics which can finally be united and subsequently applied to the infinitesimally small and the infinitely large. We currently use parameters such as distance, time, straight lines, velocity, electric charge, energy fields, and mass. Gordon’s theory of everything begins at a time when none of these parameters existed (prior to the Big Bang). It takes nothing for granted as a predestined process unfolds creating these parameters as they come into existence defined by the evolving mathematics. The Gordon model reveals that energy exists in three separate Gordon energy states described by “The GOD equation”. The interaction between these energy states result in the formation of energy fi elds and the creation of all forces. Most importantly, the structure of space-time from the previously unrecognized G0 energy state provides the solid foundation upon which we are able to build a new understanding of everything in the universe. An Ocean of Reasoning is the most extensive and perhaps the deepest extant commentary on Nagarjuna's Mulamadhyamakakarika (Fundamental Wisdom of the Middle Way), and it can be argued that it is impossible to discuss Nagarjuna's work in an informed way without consulting it. It discusses alternative readings of the text and prior commentaries and provides a detailed exegesis, constituting a systematic presentation of Madhyamaka Buddhist philosophy. Despite its central importance, however, of Tsong kha pa's three most important texts, only An Ocean of Reasoning remains untranslated, perhaps because it is both philosophically and linguistically challenging, demanding a rare combination of abilities on the part of a translator. Jay Garfield and Ngawang Samten bring the requisite skills to this difficult task, combining between them expertise in Western and Indian philosophy, and fluency in Tibetan, Sanskrit, and English. The resulting translation of this important text will not only be a landmark contribution to the scholarship of Indian and Tibetan Buddhism, but will serve as a valuable companion volume to Jay Garfield's highly successful translation of The Fundamental Wisdom of the Middle Way.

Mclnerney examines three tightly interconnected issues: how we are able to be conscious of time and temporal entities, whether time exists independently of conscious experience, and whether the conscious experiencer exists in time in the same way that ordinary natural objects are thought to exist in time. Insight is drawn from the views of major phenomenological and existential thinkers on these issues. Building on a detailed explication and critique of the views of Kant, Husserl, Heidegger, and Sartre, Mclnerney develops and defends his own positions. He argues that a revised version of Husserl’s three-feature theory of time-consciousness provides the best explanation of our awareness of temporal features, but that an independently real time is necessary to explain our experience of temporal passage. He also shows that human existence has some special temporal features in addition to those it shares with other entities. Time-consciousness, the conscious exercise of powers, and personal identity through time require that any temporal part of human existence be defined by and "reach across" to earlier and later parts.
