Giving a call to accelerate research to make the treatment of diabetes and other hormonal disorders less costly, Justice Verma said to provide treatment to the rural population it was necessary to make it more economic. Diabetes mellitus is a group of metabolic diseases characterized by hyperglycemia arising as a result of a relative or absolute deficiency of Insulin secretion, resistance to insulin action, or both.
