A bestseller since its original release a quarter century ago, Echoes of Eternity Volume II is an authentic record of one man's quiet listening to God and recording of what he heard. These brief meditations were gathered from his faithful daily devotional practice. They have the power to fuel your own quiet moments alone with the Almighty.

Book excerpt: #1 NEW YORK TIMES BESTSELLER • ONE OF ESSENCE’S 50 MOST IMPACTFUL BLACK BOOKS OF THE PAST 50 YEARS In this iconic memoir of his early days, Barack Obama “guides us straight to the intersection of the most serious questions of identity, class, and race” (The Washington Post Book World). “Quite extraordinary.”—Toni Morrison In this lyrical, unsentimental, and compelling memoir, the son of a black African father and a white American mother searches for a workable meaning to his life as a black American. It begins in New York, where Barack Obama learns that his father—a figure he knows more as a myth than as a man—has been killed in a car accident. This sudden death inspires an emotional odyssey—first to a small town in Kansas, from which he retraces the migration of his mother’s family to Hawaii, and then to Kenya, where he meets the African side of his family, confronts the bitter truth of his father’s life, and at last reconciles his divided inheritance. Praise for Dreams from My Father “Beautifully crafted . . . moving and candid . . . This book belongs on the shelf beside works like James McBride’s The Color of Water and Gregory Howard Williams’s Life on the Color Line as a tale of living astride America’s racial categories.”—Scott Turow “Provocative . . . Persuasively describes the phenomenon of belonging to two different worlds, and thus belonging to neither.”—The New York Times Book Review “Obama’s writing is incisive yet forgiving. This is a book worth savoring.”—Alex Kotlowitz, author of There Are No Children Here “One of the most powerful books of self-discovery I’ve ever read, all the more so for its illuminating insights into the problems not only of race, class, and color, but of culture and ethnicity. It is also beautifully written, skillfully layered, and paced like a good novel.”—Charlayne Hunter-Gault, author of In My Place “Dreams from My Father is an exquisite, sensitive study of this wonderful young author’s journey into adulthood, his search for community and his place in it, his quest for an understanding of his roots, and his discovery of the poetry of human life. Perceptive and wise, this book will tell you something about yourself whether you are black or white.”—Marian Wright Edelman

Book excerpt: It is my custom when I am by myself to pull out some chairs and invite Heaven to come and sit at my table. One day, no different than any other, Jesus, Peter, James and John appeared and sat in the chairs. I saw them in the spirit out in front of me as clear as it would be if you and I were eating at the same table. Jesus looked at me with a genuine smile and said, "I want you to have fellowship with us." In his second book in the Treasures of Darkness series, Echoes of a Father, Joseph Sturgeon records his experiences and conversations with the Cloud of Witnesses. Through visions and encounters Joseph introduces us to the citizens of Heaven, including Ezekiel, Jacob, King David, Moses, Enoch, Daniel and Einstein, as they invest their revelation into this generation. This timely book is for all interested in relationship with the Cloud of Witnesses, their revelation of the patterns of Heaven and understanding their interaction with the earth.

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Sounding 4 begins with the first narrative of squatter George Russell followed by an echo on magistrate, soldier and later Crown Lands Commissioner for the Western District ‘Flogger’ Fyans. Expansion west and north-west from Geelong soon causes the Colac tribal collapse and later the government-sanctioned revenge massacre of the Gadubanud Cape Otway clans. Then follows the dispossession timeline of the Geelong / Ballarat Wathaurong people and the extensive contributions by Ian D Smith on Aboriginal geography and languages of the west, with clan organization, mechanisms of dispossession, Aboriginal responses, a geography of disruption and Aboriginal perceptions of Europeans in 19th century Victoria. For contrast is a section SANITIZED ‘FRONTIER’ PROFILES OF PROMINENT COLONIALS controlling the countryside until largely replaced by the bankers and gold-diggers. Moving further west is an echo titled WINNING & LOSING THE GRAMPIANS AND THE GLENELG RIVER before a complete reproduction of Dr Jan Critchett’s Distant Field of Murder. Ian Clark and George Russell reveal how the western plains were taken over after the ‘vanishing’ of the Djab Wurrung clans around the Hopkins River. Echoes of the KULIN SUNSET COUNTRY SETTLED and A SCOTTISH ARK GROUNDS AT ARARAT are settler versions largely from local history books of reminiscences by successful sheep and cattle pastoralists such as the Learmonth and Russell family dynasties. The sour joke that the Scots had the land, the Irish the pubs and the English the accent, does no justice to the role of guns, germs and money-making… Modern scholarship birthed echoes titled FRONTIER MAYHEM IN THE FAR WEST which include the tribal resistance of Jupiter, Cocknose, Roger, Doctor, Bumbletoe etc. defeated by the likes of Wathaurong guide Bon Jon with CCL Fyans and the mounted Wurundjeri and Bunurong members of Captain Dana’s Native Police. This is followed by Marie Fels on native police action and A. G. L. Shaw on frontier violence, with Dr Critchett’ overview on Framlingham Aboriginal Mission Station. Sounding 4 concludes with aftermath echoes titled KING DAVID, DAWSON’S INFORMANTS & THE CAMPERDOWN GEORGE OBELISK and echo 74: HINDSIGHTS ON THE CULTURE-CLASH FRONTIER. Part 1 of which is on Redmond Barry, terra nullius and the Bon Jon case and part 2 has historian Henry Reynolds challenging our national self-image.

The Echoes of Eternity invites you to journey through Elaris, a city beyond time, where ancient wisdom and timeless power converge. Elaris, a breathtaking city of crystal and light, has stood for millennia as a beacon of knowledge and hope. Its founding scholars and sorcerers created the Echo Stone, an artifact of immense power that preserves the memories and wisdom of countless generations. This stone, capable of manipulating time and memory, serves as both a guide and protector, ensuring that the lessons of the past are never forgotten and that the future is shaped by understanding and enlightenment. At the heart of this tale are three extraordinary individuals bound by destiny to protect the Echo Stone and the city of Elaris. Liora, the determined daughter of a renowned archaeologist, is driven by a deep connection to her father's legacy. Her quest to uncover the secrets of Elaris leads her to embrace her role as a guardian with unwavering determination. Her journey is one of courage and resilience as she navigates the intricate web of ancient magic and timeless wisdom. Joining her is Aiden, a skilled warrior whose loyalty and bravery are unmatched. With a steadfast heart and keen sense of strategy, Aiden stands by Liora's side through countless trials and tribulations. His strength and resolve are tested repeatedly, but his commitment to protecting the Echo Stone and Elaris never wavers. Completing the trio is Selene, the newest guardian, who brings unique abilities and a fresh perspective to the team. Chosen by the echoes of the past and future, Selene's connection to the ancient magic of Elaris is profound. Her story is one of discovery and growth as she learns to harness her powers and contribute to the protection of the Echo Stone. Together, these guardians face formidable challenges, uncovering profound truths about themselves and the legacy they have sworn to protect. Their journey is a battle against external forces and an internal struggle to understand and embrace their roles as protectors of time and memory. The challenges they face and the sacrifices they make are a testament to their strength and resilience, and their triumphs celebrate their unity and determination. The Echoes of Eternity is more than a tale of adventure and magic. It is a reflection on the importance of preserving the past, understanding the present, and shaping the future. The Echo Stone, with its immense power, serves as a reminder that knowledge and wisdom are the true keys to navigating the complexities of life. The guardians' mission to protect this artifact symbolizes our responsibility to learn from history and use that knowledge to build a better future. As you journey through the pages of this book, you will witness the transformation of Liora, Aiden, and Selene from ordinary individuals into extraordinary guardians. Their struggles and triumphs mirror our own as we navigate the challenges of our lives, seeking to understand our place in the world and our impact on the future. The Echoes of Eternity is a celebration of timeless themes that connect us all—courage, sacrifice, and the pursuit of knowledge. It is a reminder that the past, present, and future are intertwined and that our actions today shape the legacy we leave for future generations. Let the echoes of eternity guide you as you embark on this unforgettable adventure.

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Her writing should be an inspiration and a lesson to others who are going through what she suffered and experienced. She was lucky enough to overcome her obstacles by following the advice of both her late loving father and one of the late great Muslim Scholars (May Allah grant them both paradise). Some people will probably learn something about how to get over their hindrances by following the steps she took and hope her practice of her Muslim religion will be of help as it did to her until now and hopefully until she dies. She truly loves, believes and practices what her God and His last prophet, peace be upon him (pbuh), the only perfect man who has ever lived on earth and by putting into practice his teachings and his sayings and also by following her God`s commands in His Holy Qur`an religiously, she succeeded in enjoying her inner peace and happiness. Most of all, by believing and putting all her trust in Her Creator, Allah or God, she gained guidance and was put into the straight path. If anyone follows the same procedures she put into practice, which was to love Allah and His last prophet Mohammad (pbuh) more than herself, and anyone or anything else on earth only then guidance and Allah will put that person into His Right Path, Islam. Islam is way of life from cradle to death. Islam means peace. That is when one enjoys inner peace and happiness as the author of this book. Only by doing so, the reader will understand and experience what she did InshaAllah, God`s Willing. She overcame any hindrances presenting in her life. Simply by supplicating and worshipping only Her Creator, Allah alone without any partnership. Allah is the One who has the solutions of all the problems. To Him we come from and to Him we will return. Therefore, to Him alone she is thankful for the wishes He has granted her and also she is more grateful for those He has denied her because He knows best. For this reason, a Muslim must always say, `Alhamdulliilah`, praised be to Allah whether good or bad. One must be patient as the name appears in her writings, Sabera, meaning patient.
