Red pennant above square flag; or two red lanterns. One above the other. Southeast Storm. Red pennant below square flag; or one red lantern. Southwest Storm. White pennant below square flag; or white lantern below red lantern. Northwest Storm. White pennant above square flag; or white lantern above red lantern. Hurricane Warning. Two square flags, one above the other; or two red lanterns with white lantern between; indicates an extremely severe or dangerous storm.
