Es hat sowohl eine, Padagogisierung" der Gymnasiallehrerbildung stattgefun den, als auch eine starkere fachwissenschaftliche Ausrichtung im Grund- und Hauptschullehrerbereich, so dass die Lehramter naher aneinander gertickt sind. Der Lehrberuf ist - mit Ausnahme spezifischer Konstellationen in den neuen Bundeslandern - ein eintraglicher, abgesicherter Beruf geworden. Ge nau zu diesem Zeitpunkt wird die Qualitat der Lehrerbildung und die Qualitat der gut abgesicherten, gut ausgestatteten und lange, akademische Ausbil dungswege absolvierenden deutschen Lehrer prinzipiell in Frage gestellt.
