Ein Aspekt dafür ist sicherlich der beschleunigte Lebenswandel. Die Anforderungen und Aufgaben des jeweiligen Arbeitsplatzes verändern sich ständig, womit die Unternehmen immer mehr auf flexible und qualifizierte Mitarbeiter angewiesen sind. Eine ständige Weiterqualifizierung ist sowohl für den Unternehmenserfolg, als auch für den einzelnen Mitarbeiter enorm wichtig.

Heute müssen sich Unternehmen im Zuge der Globalisierung auf einem noch stärker konkurrierenden Markt von ihren Mitbewerbern abheben. Zudem sind sie einem enormen Kostendruck und kürzeren Produktlebenszyklen ausgesetzt. Bei auftretenden Problemen muss eine Organisation schnell und flexibel handeln. Um mit diesem ständigen Wandel Schritt halten zu können, muss sich ein Unternehmen kontinuierlich verändern. Die Teamarbeit stellt die Grundlage für erfolgreiche Veränderungsprozesse dar. Teamwork ist ein bedeutendes Instrument um Aufgaben und Ziele effizient und effektiv zu erreichen. Die Leistungsbereitschaft und die Leistungsfähigkeit sind in einem Team stärker ausgeprägt als bei einer einzelnen Person. Mitarbeiter sind die Quelle von Gewinn, Umsatz und Wachstum. Der Erfolg einer Organisation wird zunehmend durch dieses Humankapital bestimmt. Da sich die Rahmenbedingungen, Strukturen und Prozesse von Unternehmen stetig verändern, müssen sich auch die Mitglieder einer Organisation an diese Bedingungen anpassen können. Hierfür werden jährlich rund 1.132€ pro Mitarbeiter in Personalentwicklungsmaßnahmen investiert. 87 Prozent der Unternehmen sind der Meinung, dass das Soft Skill „Teamfähigkeit" eines der wichtigsten Einstellungskriterien bei der Personalauswahl verkörpert. Weil Teamfähigkeit keine angeborene Fähigkeit ist, kann man diese erlernen. Mit Hilfe der Teamentwicklung, einer besonderen Form der Personalentwicklung, kann die Teamfähigkeit des Einzelnen verbessert werden. Das Ziel von Teamentwicklungsmaßnahmen ist die Optimierung von Prozessen und die Reduzierung von Konflikten innerhalb eines Teams. Zu Beginn dieser Arbeit werden die Begriffe Teamentwicklung und Personalentwicklung definiert. Daraufhin werden die Methoden und Ziele der Teamentwicklung herausgearbeitet und genauer auf die einzelnen Phasen, die ein Team durchläuft, eingegangen. Im Anschluss werden möglich auftretende Teamrollen innerhalb eines Teams vorgestellt. Zum Schluss wird eine während der Vorlesung durchgeführte Teamentwicklungsmaßnahme mit der vorhergehenden Theorie verglichen und reflektiert.

General Aspects: The Achievement Motivation Inventory (AMI) is a personality inventory designed to measure a broad construct of work related achievement motivation. It is founded on the theoretical work related to the German «Leistungsmotivationsinventar (LMI)» (Schuler & Prochaska, 2001) and enables users to test candidates for 17 different facets of achievement motivation. The theoretical conception of this test is based upon all common conceptualizations of the construct but for the first time integrates relevant social motives into a test measuring the construct of achievement motivation as well. Thus, in addition to traditional scales, e.g. Confidence in Success or Persistance, scales like Dominance or Status Orientation are integrated in the AMI. The AMI consists of 170 items to be responded by examinees on a 7-point-Likert format. Reliability: Reliability (Cronbach`s alpha) for the total score is α = .96 and ranges from α = .66 to α = .83 for single scales. Retest reliability is rtt = .94 for the total score and ranges from rtt = .71 to rtt = .89 for single scales.
