Möglich gemacht haben dies in erster Linie der schnelle und flächendeckende Ausbau des Internets und die damit verbundenen Kommunikationsmöglichkeiten, aber auch die guten infrastrukturellen Entwicklungen im Transport- und Logistikbereich. Unternehmen kommunizieren und handeln international in Echtzeit. Durch diese technischen Entwicklungen stehen Unternehmen im heutigen Zeitalter vor neuen Herausforderungen. Der tertiäre Sektor, auch Dienstleistungssektor genannt, gewinnt maßgeblich an Dominanz und nimmt einen vorherrschenden Stellenwert ein. Durch diese Veränderung der materiellen Ware zu immateriellen Handelsgütern, die nicht mehr so einfach körperlich greifbar gemacht werden können, rückt der Mensch der diese Waren anbietet und vertreibt und dessen Einstellung dazu, in den Mittelpunkt des betriebswirtschaftlichen Geschehens. Wir befinden uns im 21.Jahrhundert in Deutschland in einer Wohlstandsgesellschaft. Grundbedürfnisse wie Sicherheit und der uneingeschränkte Zugang zu Lebensmitteln des täglichen Bedarfs sind weitgehend gedeckt. Bedürfnisse wie Anerkennung und Selbstverwirklichung bestimmen das tägliche Handeln, sowohl bei der Arbeit als auch im privaten Bereich. Diese Veränderung der Bedürfnisse führt automatisch zu anderen Motivationsfaktoren, die wiederum direkten Einfluss auf unsere Arbeitsleistung haben. Aufgrund der immer effizienter arbeitenden Wirtschaftseinheiten, stetigen Anpassungen in Prozessen und laufenden Optimierungsvorgängen, stellt sich schnell die Frage, inwieweit ist der Faktor Mensch positiv beeinflussbar und welche Auswirkungen hat diese gezielte Motivation auf die Arbeitsleistung. Wie kann ich durch gezielte Motivation die Arbeitsleistung steigern und welche Leistungspotenziale können durch diese Motivation zusätzlich erreicht werden. Ziel dieser Bachelorarbeit ist es, die Notwendigkeit von gezielter Motivation am Arbeitsplatz zu erkennen und zu verstehen. Die Veranschaulichung ihrer Notwendigkeit im heutigen Zeit-alter und die damit möglichen Ausschöpfung von Leistungspotenzialen zeigen Möglichkeiten zur Erringung von Wettbewerbsvorteilen auf. Diese Kenntnisse können sowohl von den Personalabteilungen, dem HRM als auch den Führungskräften aller Ebenen gleichermaßen genutzt und umgesetzt werden.

In contrast to other institutions - traffic rules, legal systems or table manners -, which are often internally contradictory and are hardly ever unrestrictedly accepted, mathematics is distinguished by coherence and consensus. Although mathematics is presumably the discipline, which is the most differentiated internally, the corpus of mathematical knowledge constitutes a coher ent whole. The consistency of mathematics cannot be proved, yet, so far, no contra dictions were found that would question the uniformity of mathematics" (Heintz, 2000, p. 11). The coherence of mathematical knowledge is closely related to the kind of pro fessional communication that research mathematicians hold about mathematical knowledge. In an extensive study, Bettina Heintz (Heintz 2000) proposed that the historical development of formal mathematical proof was, in fact, a means of estab lishing a communicable „code of conduct" which helped mathematicians make themselves understood in relation to the truth of mathematical statements in a co ordinated and unequivocal way.
