Production asymmetries appear to be very promising for a large range of parameters, decays are less effective. Importance of flavor- changing scalar currents involving the top are emphasized. At lepton colliders, the top-anticharm final state is uniquely suited for such searches. At a muon collider there is the novel possibility of tree level?+?− → t{ovr c}. This talk is based on works done in collaboration with David Atwood and Laura Reina. 10 refs., 8 figs.

Book excerpt: This thesis reports on the final measurement of the flavor-mixing phase in decays of strange-bottom mesons (B_s) into J/psi and phi mesons performed in high-energy proton-antiproton collisions recorded by the Collider Experiment at Fermilab. Interference occurs between direct decays and decays following virtual particle-antiparticle transitions (B_s-antiB_s). The phase difference between transition amplitudes (“mixing phase”) is observable and extremely sensitive to contributions from non-standard-model particles or interactions that may be very hard to detect otherwise – a fact that makes the precise measurement of the B_s mixing phase one of the most important goals of particle physics. The results presented include a precise determination of the mixing phase and a suite of other important supplementary results. All measurements are among the most precise available from a single experiment and provide significantly improved constraints on the phenomenology of new particles and interactions.

They will contribute to the lepton flavor violation processes, such as????????e?, which can be probed far below the current bound with an intense muon source at the front end of the muon collider. In addition, if sleptons can be produced at the muon collider, the flavor violation can occur at their production and decay, allowing us to probe the flavor mixing structure directly. Asymmetry between numbers of?e− and e+?− events will be a sign for CP violation in supersymmetric flavor mixing.
