What happens when you are faced with the ultimate choice; run and live, or stay and die? Whatever happens, you can’t leave a real-life Hell without changing somehow. In a complex world, where a select few humans know of the dangers that lurk below the surface, it leaves the world fragile. These humans, all members of the secretive organisation of Everest Arch, protect the unknowledgeable normal humans from the anger and violence of the ruthless Demons that live in the mountain beside a small town. The organisation is full of people who strive to protect their world, but when one person dares to ask the question no one else has thought of, the consequences shake the ground and the two types of people must decide what they really are fighting for.

The Seattle-based shape-shifting succubus is used to getting what she wants, when she wants. Until she falls for a mere mortal... Georgina is finally, irrevocably in love, and she doesn’t care who knows it. There’s just one problem. If she and her boyfriend, Seth Mortensen, succumb to their all-consuming desire, the consequences will be dire: Seth will be destroyed. Of course, no one cares about their struggle to keep their hands to themselves, especially not Georgina’s archdemon boss, who is sending her to L.A. to sit on a demon-run tribunal. An immortal has been murdered—and the high court is determined to find the killer and set an example... Bribery, corruption, murder—the three demons on trial will stop at nothing to avoid a guilty verdict. But all the dark magic zipping through the atmosphere must be going to Georgina’s head, because suddenly she suspects that Seth is up to no good. Now she can’t help but wonder how far she’d be willing to go to make sure she doesn’t lose the love of her immortal life... Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: The Dictionary of Demons starts with a simple premise: names have power. In medieval and Renaissance Europe, it was believed that speaking a demon's true name could summon it, compel it, and bind it. Occult scholar Michelle Belanger has compiled the most complete compendium of demonic names available anywhere, using both notorious and obscure sources from the Western grimoiric tradition. Presented alphabetically from Aariel to Zynextyur, more than 1,500 demons are introduced, explored, and cross-referenced by theme and elemental or planetary correspondence. This meticulously researched reference work features fascinating short articles on demonology and a wealth of woodcuts, etchings, and paintings depicting demons through the ages.

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: The Babylonian Talmud is full of stories of demonic encounters, and it also includes many laws that attempt to regulate such encounters. In this book, Sara Ronis takes the reader on a journey across the rabbinic canon, exploring how late antique rabbis imagined, feared, and controlled demons. Ronis contextualizes the Talmud's thought within the rich cultural matrix of Sasanian Babylonia, placing rabbinic thinking in conversation with Sumerian, Akkadian, Ugaritic, Syriac Christian, Zoroastrian, and Second Temple Jewish texts about demons to delve into the interactive communal context in which the rabbis created boundaries between the human and the supernatural, and between themselves and other religious communities. Demons in the Details explores the wide range of ways that the rabbis participated in broader discussions about beliefs and practices with their neighbors, out of which they created a profoundly Jewish demonology.

They are working their plan feverishly because they know their time is short. The good news is that deliverance is available for those who will learn the truth about “the father of lies” and his army of evil. In this eye-opening book, Marilyn helps you to see how Satan, fallen angels, and evil spirits have infiltrated our modern society in insidious ways, steering generations away from biblical truths and faith in the one true God. You will learn the origins of Satan, his character, and his work today. You will also discover his doorways into people’s lives–horoscopes, drugs, false religions, cults, and more. In addition, Marilyn answers the age-old question, “Can Christians be demon possessed?” Devil’s, Demons, and Deliverance will teach you how to defeat the devil and live victoriously in Jesus Christ.

This book was released on 2004-02-10 with total page 312 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Missing from most accounts of the modern history of Jews in Europe is the experience of what was once the largest Jewish community in the world—an oversight that Gershon David Hundert corrects in this history of Eastern European Jews in the eighteenth century. The experience of eighteenth-century Jews in the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth did not fit the pattern of integration and universalization—in short, of westernization—that historians tend to place at the origins of Jewish modernity. Hundert puts this experience, that of the majority of the Jewish people, at the center of his history. He focuses on the relations of Jews with the state and their role in the economy, and on more "internal" developments such as the popularization of the Kabbalah and the rise of Hasidism. Thus he describes the elements of Jewish experience that became the basis for a "core Jewish identity"—an identity that accompanied the majority of Jews into modernity.
