It is through the life of Abraham that God began to reveal that man comes to God only by faith, not works. That being said, it is the case that most people don't seem to be able to connect the dots between Bible prophecy and everyday events and the end to which they are leading. This is also true of many Christians who should know what the Bible says and be able to tie it to the world in which we live--sadly that is not the case.
