Book excerpt: Dans ce travail, nous avons tout d'abord étudié l'influence des principaux paramètres tels que le mode de construction de la dalle de compression, l'état de surface des substrats, la nature de l'adhésif et l'épaisseur irrégulière du joint sur les performances mécaniques des poutres mixtes collées de 3.3 m de portée. L'instrumentation par des jauges électriques et des capteurs inductifs nous a permis de déterminer la répartition des déformations dans les corps d'épreuve ainsi que de mesurer le glissement et le soulèvement relatifs de la dalle par rapport au profile métallique. Ensuite, nous avons réalisé un test expérimental en flexion trois points sur une poutre mixte collée de 8.5 m de portée afin d'analyser le comportement mécanique de la structure collée en vraie grandeur. Nous montrons qu'en utilisant un adhésif époxyde au comportement rigide comme élément d'assemblage dans les poutres mixtes acier-béton et en appliquant un sablage des surfaces des deux substrats, le collage peut assurer une connexion parfaite entre l'acier et le béton. Nous montrons également que la dalle de compression peut être réalisée par plusieurs éléments, en béton préfabriqué, collés bout à bout. Et finalement, en comparant le comportement mécanique des poutres mixtes collées avec une épaisseur irrégulière du joint dans le sens transversal et longitudinal avec celui d'une poutre mixte collée avec une épaisseur de joint régulière, on peut tolérer une variation de l'épaisseur du joint d'adhésif d'une amplitude de 2 mm dans le sens transversal et de 4 mm dans le sens longitudinal de la poutre. En conclusion, le collage peut se substituer aux connecteurs métalliques et assurer la mixité recherchée

Dans ce travail nous avons étudié le renforcement à l'effort tranchant de poutres en béton armé renforcées par collage de tissus ou de bandes en composite carbo-époxy. Les poutres sont conçues de telle sorte que la rupture par cisaillement soit dominante sauf cas particulier. Dans un premier temps, nous avons étudié l'influence de la hauteur du tissu et du bras de levier sur la charge ultime des poutres renforcées. Pour cette étude, deux types de poutres en béton armé de même configuration avec portée différente ont été réalisés. On a constaté, pour les deux types de poutres, que la hauteur maximale utile du tissu est égale aux ß de celle de la poutre et qu'elle suffit pour éviter toute rupture par cisaillement. Le gain en charge ultime est deux fois plus important pour les poutres de grande portée. La variation de l'espacement entre les cadres d'acier a montré que la contribution du tissu à la reprise de l'effort tranchant dépend effectivement de ce paramètre. Nous avons également réalisé une série d'essai sur la réparation de poutres endommagées. Les résultats montrent que les poutres réparées ont même charge de ruine que celles renforcées. Enfin, nous avons étudié le comportement expérimental de poutres renforcées par un système discontinu de bandes de TFCÒ collées. Ce programme expérimental nous a permis de mettre en évidence que la contribution des bandes de TFCÒ est plus importante lorsqu'elles sont perpendiculaires à la fissure d'effort tranchant et lorsque le renforcement est fait par bandage. Une étude par la méthode des éléments finis à l'aide du logiciel CASTEM 2000 a été menée. Le modèle simule correctement le comportement d'une poutre renforcée à l'effort tranchant et donne accès à des grandeurs difficilement mesurables.
