Book excerpt: Ce travail est une contribution à l'étude du mécanisme de dissolution électrochimique d'un alliage cuivre-nickel 70/30 dans une solution de NaC1 à 3%. Cette étude a été réalisée à la fois par des techniques électrochimiques : courbe de polarisation anodique, chronopotentiométrie, chronoampérométrie, voltamétrie ; et par des méthodes d'analyses : diffraction des rayons X , spectrométrie infra-rouge et Raman laser. La comparaison des résultats obtenus pour cet alliage avec ceux obtenus pour le cuivre et le nickel montrent que le comportement du Cu-Ni est très proche de celui du cuivre. Dans les deux cas, la formation du film de produits de corrosion se fait en plusieurs étapes ; une première étape est la précipitation de CuC1 à partir d'une solution saturée en ions complexes CuC1 2 produits par la dissolution du cuivre. Les résultats de chronopotentiométrie et de voltamétrie mettent en évidence la présence de deux espèces à l'interface métal-solution.
