Book Synopsis I Want to Do It Right by : Linda M. Dillard
Download or read book I Want to Do It Right written by Linda M. Dillard and published by AuthorHouse. This book was released on 2013-04-08 with total page 158 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: This book was written in an attempt to show people how to witness in order to win souls for Christ, without being crude and intimidating. It is important that the souls that we are trying to win see the hope of their salvation. The grace of God is so magnificent that it will usually invite repentance. The Bible states that the Word of God is of no private interpretation and that salvation is free to all. Being afraid of going to hell is not a good enough reason for wanting to be saved. As a matter of fact, it is a pretty poor one. God wants us to serve Him in Spirit and in truth, simply because we love Him. He knows the intent of our hearts, yet, He has given us free will. We will never have true joy and peace if the only reason that we are in church is to avoid going to hell. Attendance without dedication is merely works; which according to the book of James mean nothing without faith. An effective witness will have a testimony of his or her own to share with their subject, thus, presenting a glorious invitation to the family of God. I feel that the methodology addressed in this book will be as effective to the one who is doing the witnessing, as it will be to the one who will be receiving the witness. Not everyone will have an ear to hear, so, tell those who will listen.

Book Synopsis One Religion, One Faith in Christ's Crucifixion and the Prophecy of Mohammed by : Imad Barake
Download or read book One Religion, One Faith in Christ's Crucifixion and the Prophecy of Mohammed written by Imad Barake and published by Xlibris Corporation. This book was released on 2014-10-31 with total page 342 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: This book explains my simple theory on monotheism and that God revealed only on religion to entire humanity, and its first message of that one religion started with Noah and ended with Mohammed. God revealed to each prophet one aspect of that religion as humans evolved and developed over thousands of years until we got into Jesus Christ as a special messenger that has power and authority more than normal and simple prophets. I am also arguing as a Muslim writer that the understanding of Quran by Muslim that Jesus was not crucified is simply wrong and the proof that I am offering is in Quran, the holy book of Muslims. Then in the book, I am arguing that the current teaching of Islam, as has been widely used and broadcasted through Muslim libraries, TV shows, etc., is all outdated and caused complete departure from the true teaching of Quran. In the final part of the book, I am demonstrating that there are great areas of common values and teaching between the Bible and Quran and the differences are so little that Muslim should be encouraged to engage with Christians as they both share one religion.
