Ausgangsbasis ist die Erläuterung des Begriffs, um anschließend die Rolle der Führungskräfte sowie weitere Faktoren eines erfolgreichen Wandels abzuleiten. Im vierten Kapitel werden die Ergebnisse der vorherigen Ausarbeitung zusammengefasst und die einzelnen Aspekte gegenübergestellt, um mögliche Interdependenzen zu identifizieren und zu analysieren. Im Rahmen des Change Managements kann die Unternehmenskultur eine maßgebliche Rolle des erfolgreichen Wandels einnehmen. Diese bedeutende Rolle, vor allem in Hinblick auf konventionelle Geschäftsprozesse und -veränderungen wie Neuausrichtung von Strategie- und Geschäftsmodell, Unternehmenskauf und -integration oder auch ein neues Management, wird dennoch unterschätzt und führte im Ergebnis in der Vergangenheit branchenübergreifend zu Hindernissen und Zielverfehlungen. Unternehmenskultur erscheint somit als eine relevante Stellschraube in Veränderungsprozessen, die maßgeblich den Erfolg oder Misserfolg jener Veränderungen beeinflusst. Es bedarf somit einer näheren Betrachtung des Konstrukts Unternehmenskultur und dessen Beitrag zu erfolgreichen organisationalen Veränderungen.
