Love has in it, discipline or it is not true love. Life has to be moving in a direction of health or it is not true life. Light has to have peace, perfection, balance and harmony or it is not true light. Knowing the above will help the present generation to choose more wisely and push away unhealthy traditions that come from the people, schools and religions that raised them. You choose to get up or stay in bed and both have a consequence. The choice is free but the consequence will always follow creation first even when creation's consequences are seen with time and then come the consequences from the parent's rules, state laws or laws of the government. Look at the animals of creation. Do they worship? Why not? Because they are created in their perfect sphere and need nothing! We as humankind should take note as we too are created in a sphere of perfectness and when we see creation and our Creator as truth we shine with life, love and light.

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: The book of Esther is a small gem embedded within the vast Old Testament Scriptures. It's easy to overlook because it doesn't present lofty doctrine or mysterious prophecies; in fact, it doesn't even mention God. It simply follows the experiences of two Jewish cousins, Esther and Mordecai, who lived during the time of Israel's exile following the Babylonian conquest of Judah and Jerusalem. In one sense, Esther's story was the story of all the Jewish exiles living under Persian rule. But in another sense, her story was unique and remarkable. Unforeseen events and circumstances saw her emerge from obscurity as a young Hebrew woman to become the queen of the mightiest empire the world had ever known. But behind Esther's good fortune stood the eternal purpose of Esther's God. In a way that is both mysterious and thrilling, the story reveals an ever-faithful God who accomplishes his unchanging will for the world, not in the whirlwind but the still, small voice; not with spectacular displays of power but with an unremarkable, and often undetected, hand. Adding its own unique voice to the scriptural chorus, the book of Esther reveals and exalts the unseen, silent, and seemingly absent God whose loving designs are enduring and undaunted; the God who, in every circumstance, is worthy of complete trust and devotion.

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: The fourth century was different than the previous centuries due to two big heresies. The first one was the heresy of Arius, who denied the divinity of the Son. This heresy led to the Council of Nicaea in 325 in which the church fathers affirmed the divinity of the Son of one substance with the Father. The second heresy was that of the Tropici, who denied the divinity of the Holy Spirit and said that the Holy Spirit was a creature or an angel. At that time, Athanasius was one of the most important leaders in the life of the church. He wrote against the Tropici, as he addressed them in his letters to Serapion. These letters are the major work of Athanasius concerning the Holy Spirit. The Spirit of Truth explains the way that Athanasius dealt with the heresy and elucidates the pneumatology of Athanasius’s use of the Gospel of John and 1 John. It also discusses Athanasius’s understanding of tradition, Scripture, and hermeneutical principles in his defense of the Godhead, particularly the divinity of the Holy Spirit. For Athanasius, the Holy Spirit is eternal, divine, uncreated, and one with the Father and the Son.

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: "One of the first great events in Christian history was the Council of Nicaea in 325 AD, convened to organize Christian sects and beliefs into a unified doctrine. The great Christian clergymen who wrote before this famous event are referred to as the Ante-Nicenes and the Apostolic Fathers, and their writings are collected here in a ten-volume set. The Ante-Nicenes lived so close to the time of Christ that their interpretations of the New Testament are considered more authentic than modern voices. But they are also real and flawed men, who are more like their fellow Christians than they are like the Apostles, making their words echo in the ears of spiritual seekers. In Volume V of the 10-volume collected works of the Ante-Nicenes first published between 1885 and 1896, readers will find the writings of: Hippolytus, who during his time was considered an antipope because of his conflicts with the Church Cyprian, a bishop of Carthage, who greatly supported the establishment of the Church Caius, who supposedly wrote the Muratorian Canon, the oldest list of the books in the New Testament Novatian, an antipope who founded a sect of Christianity that endured a few hundred years after his death."
