Mixture viscosities and conductivities are calculated from good approximations derived from rigorous theory. Properties can be calculated quickly with a precision of 2 percent or better. Accuracy depends on how well the constants characterizing the intermolecular force law are known; if constants are derived from experimental data, results should be accurate to 5 percent or better. Force constants for 65 gases are tabulated.

The calculations are made either by extrapolation of experimental data given at conditions other than those desired or by using the critical and molecular properties of the gases. The computer program was used to solve a sample problem dealing with the physical properties of carbon dioxide, oxygen, and nitrogen mixtures.
