Hieraus ergibt sich ein Spagat zwischen Anspruch und Wirklichkeit, welchen ich anschließend ebenso skizziere wie die möglichen Konsequenzen, welche diese Diskrepanz mit sich bringen kann. Nach diesem theoretischen Teil verknüpfe ich im zweiten Teil meiner Arbeit den Lehrerberuf mit der Psychologischen Beratung und erkläre anhand von Beispielen, wie die Belastungsfaktoren erkannt werden können und welche Gegenmaßnahmen und Bewältigungsstrategien ergriffen werden können, sodass es erst gar nicht zu einer Burnout-Erkrankung kommt. Aufgrund des Umfangs kann dies selbstverständlich nur ein Auszug sein. Die umfangreichste Studie zum Thema ‚Belastungen im Lehrberuf‘ ist die Potsdamer Lehrerstudie von 2007, auf welche ich mich statistisch beziehe. Als Literatur diente mir zunächst das Werk von Manfred Nelting zum Thema Burnout im Allgemeinen sowie Wolfgang Hagemanns Buch, der sich speziell mit dem Thema ‚Burnout bei Lehrern‘ beschäftigt hat. Für die Präventionsstrategien lieferte Heike Frank gute Ideen.
